A chat with professor and translator Benedicto Silva

“An uncomplicated form of conquest” is the title of our editorial, which highlights the Esperanto role as a valuable tool of trade and fraternization among the people in the world we live in.

“Nowadays Esperanto has already had a rich literature.” The sentence belongs to the professor Benedicto Silva, who was born in Cravinhos, SP, but has settled in São José do Rio Preto, SP. Translator of many works to the language created by Zamenhof, known professor speaks to our magazine about his experience in translation area. His interview is one of this edition spots.

Another highlight is the Especial “The reincarnation and the fear of freedom”, by Professor Almir Del Prette, who tells in his article that the doctrine of one only existence and the plurality of existences are based in two cultural different paradigms. The first can be named of Salvationism. The second which is on contrary to it, can be called of Evolutionism.

It happens in September in Florianópolis, SC the 8º Brazilian Association Congress of Spirit Magistrates (ABRAME), which “Material and spiritual vision around life” is the main theme. ABRAME’s president, Dr. Kéops Vasconcelos talks to us about the important event in an especial article written by Giovana Campos.

As day like yesterday, August 1º, 150 years ago it was published the 1º edition of “Heaven and Hell, or the Divine Justice according to Spiritism”, Allan Kardec. Get correct the year of 1865. The work is part of the so-called Pentateuch Kardecian and, as such, was sequential object of study in issues 332-361 of this magazine.
