We are not here to ride

One of the most important questions in Allan Kardec’s work is, with no doubt the answer given to the question 132 in The Spirits’ Book:

132. What is the purpose of spirits incarnation? "God requires them to incarnation in order to make them reach perfection. For some it is atonement; for others, mission. But to achieve this perfection, they have to suffer all the vicissitudes of bodily existence: that is the atonement. The incarnation has also another goal: put the spirit in a position to support the part that touches it in the work of creation. To run it, it is that in each world, the Spirit takes an instrument, in accordance with the essential matter of this world in order to meet there, from that point of view, the orders of God. It is in that way, the spirit contributing to the overall work itself moves forward."

Explain the purpose of the incarnation is to elucidate the purpose of life, it is to clarify why we are born, it is to signal the way we should walk, whatever condition we got to the material plane of the world where we live.

The question now transcribed indicates dual purpose in our passage through the flesh, so the first time as the following times, through the process called successive lives.

The first and main goal: to reach perfection.

The second goal: run the part that fits us in the work of creation.

Those who do not understand this second purpose, it is good to remember that created by God and furnished by Jesus, the earth has come to this state it is thanks mainly to men, ie the spirits who, over the millennia, have incarnated and lived in the plan we are.

Who built the cities?

Who built the hospitals?

Who founded schools?

Who had the idea, and to materialize, to create orphanages, kindergartens and other institutions of social benevolence?

Who makes the drugs?

Who designed and built the machines - cars, buses, airplanes, and computers?

Who invented the World Wide Web?

Nobody, not even a child, ignore the answer.

About to reach perfection – the main purpose of the incarnation and of course reincarnation – let’s remember the answer by Emmanuel to the question 204 in The Comforter, work psychographic by the medium Chico Xavier and published by FEB 1941:

204 – Can the human soul be raise to God, only with the moral progress without the intellective values?

Feeling and wisdom are the two wings with which the soul will rise to infinite perfection. In the cramped circle of terrestrial globe, both are classified as moral advancement and intellectual advancement, but, as we are examining the proper values of the world, in particular, we must recognize that both are essential to progress, being fair, however, it considers the superiority of the first on the second, because the intellectual part without morality can offer numerous falling prospects, the repeated experiences, whereas moral advancement will never be excessive, representing the most important core of evolutionary energies.

In a message already mentioned at this same space, published in the book Speaking to Earth, psychic work psychographic by Chico Xavier, Abel Gomes, reporting to this end, recalls that the development of the soul is a long time job. According to Abel, not all leave Earth and join the spiritual homeland in the position of heroes. "The perfect sublimation is the work of ceaseless ages."

In view of the above considerations, it is not hard to understand when someone more experienced than us, says that we are not here to ride, as many unfortunately think.
