Politicians, great care
is required!

The corruption scandals that have been unveiled in recent weeks in our country confirm two theses that require us to think seriously about the Brazilian politicians and what we expect from them.

The first: the impeachment of a president and the condemnation of so-called mensaleiros nothing served as an example of what should not do in the exercise of a mandate given by the people.

The second: many politicians, if not most, at least most of them, do not fear human justice and, for sure, divine justice, as if the life of a person closes down with the burial of his body.

The situation has reached the point in Brazil that honesty and moral character began to be taken as a virtue, as its scarcity in the political life of this country.

With respect to the justice of men, sure of impunity is the basis of the fearlessness with which act corrupt politicians, an unquestionable fact because among them there are very few people who have come to the bars of the court. And when this happens, the convicts get pathetic sentences, as we saw in the so-called mensalão, in which the operators of the scheme received high and appropriate to the severity of their crimes, not checking the same with respect to the alleged principals and beneficiaries the diverted resources.

Regarding the divine justice, who has said supporter of Christianity should be more careful. Whosoever shall kill with the sword, the sword will fall victim. To each one is according to his works. Seeding is free, but the harvest is compulsory.

The so-called law of cause and effect, which was known from the time of Jeremiah, is one of the fundamental principles of Spiritism and it is nothing more than a confirmation of what Jesus taught us.

We cannot joke about serious things. The passage through the experience of life in the material plane as we live in it is not designed to the thrill and enjoyment, as many imagine, but set goals that are not good belittle.

What we do here we have to accountable it and, like it or not, this time of adjustment can be quite unpleasant.

Takes place at this time in Brazil the definition of which will be ahead of government of the Union and the States, as it was defined at the beginning of the month the composition of the Senate of the Republic and the legislative chambers of the state and federal level.

Our collaborator José Lucas reported recently in an article published in this journal, that the known medium and speaker Jose Raul Teixeira was once making a speech at a major Brazilian city. When speaking with its hosts, where they would have lunch at the restaurant, while waiting for the traffic light to open to cross the wide avenue, he saw a ragged woman nearby, looking for food in a trash bin. The scene caused him such an impression that he lost the will to eat lunch, but needed to do it. In the restaurant, while he was trying to compose himself mentally, thinking that being who had nothing and him there in a restaurant with his friends, a spirit friend who accompanies him at the doctrinal tasks appeared to him. The spiritual benefactor calmed him, saying that even if he were to give that lady clean food, she would refuse it. And in short strokes, narrated him the story of the woman who in this life was the reincarnation of a famous Brazilian politician still highly regarded who, for having harmed so much the people, had reincarnated in a miserable condition, due to the mechanism guilt complex that struck him after the death of the body. Thus, returned to corporeal existence in a miserable condition to learn to value what he so despised in earlier life: the financial difficulties of his close people. Interestingly, the name of the famous politician that he had referred was posted on the next corner, giving name to the avenue, which is why that woman, by a mechanism of unconscious fixation, did not get away from the place where once paid him great homage.

It was not a divine punishment, but the fulfillment of the law of cause and effect, according to which each person reaps what he/she sow in life with his/her actions, thoughts and feelings.

In light of this and many similar cases that we come across in spiritist literature, it does not cost us to remind politicians who soon will take their jobs: - Friends, try to take: great care is required!
