Gratitude to God

Many people are used to say that there are days they wanted to vanish, to die, and to disappear; they are involved in disgust’s life feeling, tedium, and emptiness when in many cases in truth there are not real reasons for that.

At the main Spiritism work, Kardec proposed to the immortals a question related to that issue.

Here it is:

– Where does it come the disgust of life, that without plausible reasons, it takes over to a certain people?

“Effect of idleness, lack of faith, and also of satiety. For one who uses its powers to useful purpose and in accordance with its natural aptitudes, work has nothing arid and life flows faster. It supports the vicissitudes with so much patience and resignation, as the work with the aim of more solid and durable happiness that it awaits." (The Spirits' Book, issue 943.)

If this feeling does not occur every day, it is obvious that it can be a result of stress that many of us ended up submitting to, due to the stress of modern life, or else a direct result of some negative spiritual influence.

The reader should understand that a spiritual influence that nature does not always come from someone who wants to harm us. It may result from the mere presence of a disembodied entity, involved with the same feeling radiates around itself equivalent vibrations that reach us or not.

What should be done when this occurs?

Prayer, good reading, meditation - those are able to ward off the bad feeling, which can be facilitated with the use of music, especially when the music for its melody and its lyrics can achieve fibers of our feeling.

John Cabete, dear composer who has returned to the spiritual homeland, wrote a song that has that power.

The song is entitled "Gratitude to God" and looks like it was made up just to comfort us when the disgust of life, boredom and emptiness wish to take our soul.

Here is the lyric "Gratitude to God":

When the shadow of sadness

Cover your dreams of happiness,

When you want to cry

Before the cup of bitterness…

When the pain knock at the door,

Hurting deep into the heart,

When the faith is dead

And life is bitter illusion.

Look back,

See how much pain,

Pleas for peace

Crying for love…

Eyes always in the darkness,

Hands begging for bread,

Mouths that do not speak

And laughs without reason…

Stop crying,

Smile again,

You are so happy,

Sing again!

Make a pray,

Be thankful to God,

He always bless

His own sons…

The song above can be listened to according to the singer Célia Tomboly (Portuguese version only), clicking at this link:

It is a medicine from a non-chemical nature that everybody can make use of it, and there is not against medical advice, as the reader can check by himself.
