Death, as the facts attest,
it is just a passing

 
The article of José Lucas on the scientist David Fontana, which is one of the highlights of this issue, leads us to recall another important personality in the field of research on paranormal phenomena. We refer to Father François Brune, author of "The Dead Speak on", published in Brazil by Edicel.

In the introduction to his book, François Brune says it is incomprehensible the silence, disdain and even censorship exercised by the Science and the Church, about the most extraordinary discovery of our time: the existence of the afterlife and the possibility to communicate with what we call dead.

Following and studying the latest research carried out in this field, he says that his conclusions exceeded what was expected, i.e. not only the veracity of the experiences with the so-called dead is confirmed and can no longer be doubted, as the prodigious wealth of this literature Beyond revived him what centuries of theological intellectualism had extinguished.

"Death - François Brune says - it's just a passage." Our life goes on without interruption until the end of time, and therefore we will take with us to the Beyond our personality, our memories, our character.

To their conclusions about the survival of the soul after death, he mentions and dissects six orders of phenomena: I - experiences on the borders of death (EFM), involving people reported dead and which, however, returned to life; II - direct recording of the voices of the dead on magnetic tape; III - the photograph of the deceased; IV – footage of pictures from Beyond that, according to the method adopted by Ernest Senkowski appears on a television screen and can be videotaped by a camera; V - playing through a device called chronovisor ancient voices and images relevant to people, when incarnated, an initiative regarding to the priest Ernetti, University of Venice, aided by several scientists and, finally, VI – the telephone calls from the Beyond.

The information reported in the book "The Dead Speak on" show us that it is only a matter of time the advent of an era in which we will see on our planet to a stage that we will certainly remember the episodes have occurred since 1848 in Hydesville, having characters like Fox family girls. As you know, it was those episodes which rose Spiritism when propagated to other cities and other countries.

With regard specifically to the research now done in the Old World, we pay careful attention to what David Fontana said in an interview published in issue number 6, September and October 2004, the Journal of Spiritism, from Portugal: 

Journal of Spiritism: What is it thought to be now necessary, to change the scientific verdicts, regarding the survival of the spirit as a proven fact?

David Fontana: I think there is no doubt we have enough evidence to demonstrate that these paranormal events happen. We demonstrate this in clear conditions. The next step is to demonstrate to the satisfaction of skeptical scientists, who seem to be very hard to convince, not only it is possible psychic abilities, but that life continues after death. Incidentally, we should not call them dead, because, in fact, they are alive and well, since they have the power to produce such phenomena. In addition, it is certain that we have obtained certain information that none of the living knew. There were communications of people that we even did not know them, it was researched and come to the conclusion that they had existed and that the details we had been given were correct. Let's see, no "alive" has emotional needs of producing this kind of detailed information. They do not know the people, or who they are, know nothing of their past, no connection with them, or anything like that, and even then, the information is totally true.

Death, as well demonstrated by the experiments here remembered, is only a passage, a break, a moment in the life of undying spirits, whose survival is in addition to, so to speak, documented and it is not based only on our individual beliefs.
