Clamor of the masses

 
No one who loves this country and wants the welfare for all Brazilians can deny the importance of the demonstrations that have taken Brazil in recent weeks.

Initiated in Sao Paulo, it had spread to all state capitals and the most important cities of the country side, to show that this nation needs greater seriousness and sensitivity in dealing with public.

Education with quality, a fast and decent transport system, health care for all, regardless of whether or not health plans, zero of tolerance for corruption, ending impunity, effective security so you can come and go without fear, here is some of the flags that without partisan colour or electioneering purpose, have been clearly presented in the succession of days. It could be in Porto Alegre or in Macapá, in the giant Sao Paulo or the small and not least Cataguases, the people have expressed its outrage at what is happening in this country, where corruption, carelessness, indifference and mockery reached levels never seen.

We are therefore difficult to add anything, which is why we make our own the words, with the title of "Social Clamor: the climax and the indifference of the rulers," Divaldo Franco wrote in his fortnightly article published on June 20th in the newspaper A Tarde (The afternoon), Salvador-BA.

"When social injustices reach the climax and the indifference of the rulers by the people who dare the shackles of everyday needs, under a hurry of inner conflicts and suffering, generalizes, in democratic cultures, the masses run into the streets and squares of cities to submit their cry to demand with respect the performs electoral promises made to them ...

It is no longer possible to gag people, oppressing them and threatening them with the tools of police aggression and disregard for their pains.

The human being of today is restless everywhere, exercising the right to be respected and to have an opportunity to live with a minimum of dignity.

There is no place in modern culture to the absurdity of arbitrary governments, nor the application of the resources that are plucked from the people to extravagance disguised as necessary as education, health, work are scarce or placed in the lower plane.

The use of false statistics, tailored to the interests of the directors, cannot appease hunger, illuminate ignorance, assist in the liberation of diseases, expands the range of decent work instead of welfare that masks the suffering and makes room for today’s clamor which explodes in the country and several cities in the world.

It is unfortunate, however, that unscrupulous people, offenders, who live in the pay of anarchy and disrespect, seize up these noble movements and transformed into festival of destruction.

That for these inconsequential, are applied corrigenda under the laws, but preserve the rights of citizens to seek justice and support into their demands.

When the people cries in pain, do not silence its voice, but when they met their fair demands. In this sense, it is for young people, the citizens of the future, the initiative to inveigh against the infamous conduct... however, in order and peace."
