Do electrical storms improve the “psychosphere”?

I had the bliss of enjoying a childhood rich in experiences and learnings. Of course, there was a lot of bullying in the early 70s – a word that I and my peers could not even dream of. In fact, imposition by force and even a certain naiveté shaped our lives. We had, however, to go ahead and face the obstacles and difficulties - and there were many - of each day with courage and determination.

One of the most pleasant memories that I keep was the happiness I felt with the arrival of summer and its heavy rains. What wonderful times those were! The seasons with their striking and singular characteristics found perfect matches in the climate of the time.

The rains at that time occurred every day in the summers (temperatures, as I recall, oscillated on average between 25 and 26 degrees) of my beloved Sao Paulo. It was marvelous, by the way, the precision with which they reached the burning soil. In other words, they came to cheer us daily just after 3pm.

I lived on a small street, in the oldest suburb of the city - the Freguesia do O - divided in its extension by two squares. My friends and I went out to play football in the smallest of them just before the downpour arrived. It was a lot of fun for us to play street football under heavy rain. It should be noted that we, children at the time, enjoyed a freedom absolutely unthinkable in the present times for several reasons.

The rains lasted for about an hour, and that strong volume of water washed not only our smooth bodies, but also our little souls, such was the sensation of well-being that it gave us. Thus, when the game was over, we felt as light as feathers, though a little exhausted. Mother Nature in those times showed consistent signs of balance and harmony.

It was common soon after the playful activity to watch the King of the Stars appearing again with its golden rays framing the sky as well as beautifying the evening's fall. Things worked perfectly. Funny enough there were practically no thunder or lightning. We did not have the least fear about it. In fact, it was something so rare that it did not cause us any concern and even less to our mothers.

Brazil: world leader in lightning incidence – After this healthy and loving tour, I would like to focus now on the lightning storms seen presently and the panic that - very differently from my childhood – it generates. The statistics in this regard are alarming. As if to show all its disenchantment with Humanity and its constant transgressions to common sense and sacred values, Brazil has been severely punished by Nature’s forces.

In fact, we have recorded over 50 million (other sources claim that we have already reached 57.8 million) of electric discharges per year falling on Brazilian soil, particularly in spring and summer, the hottest seasons of the year.

According to the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), lightning has killed 1,790 people between 2000 and 2014. Therefore, we assume the position of world leader in lightning incidence per year.

According to experts, temperatures of a radius can reach 30,000 degrees Celsius that is five times as high as that of the surface of the Sun or even 100 million volts. Most of the disembodiments occur in open fields such as agricultural areas, soccer fields and beaches, especially through indirect streams of lightning coming from the ground. It is evident that today we have very favorable climatic conditions in Brazil - a collision of air masses with different temperatures – for this to occur, different from the past. Thus, according to experts, "The shock of the particles - inside the mist – charges the atoms with electricity, and causes a spark that starts the ray. As the spark approaches the ground, a discharge from the ground to the cloud begins. When they both meet, lightning happens".

INPE also reports that the place where the most rays fall in the country is the Amazon, with 11 million records per year, followed by Para with 7.8 million and Mato Grosso with 6.81 million cases, respectively. In addition, it should be added that, in the second place in the world ranking, the Democratic Republic of the Congo appears, with 43.2 million rays and, third, the United States, with 35 million per year.

We carry to the Beyond the values that decorate our soul - Curious to note that they are democratic nations that, like Brazil, face complex problems in their societies. Having said this, I would like to suggest another hypothesis - and nothing more - for this rather frightening phenomenon, beyond, of course, the climatic consequences previously analyzed. I believe that these storms, given the volume, intensity, and mortality they have caused, must be tied to other aspects of an eminently spiritual nature. My hypothesis lies in the fact that in the spiritual plane, particularly in the threshold zones, similar resources are used to cool the accumulation of negative vibratory content.

We know from the Spiritist literature that there are considerable contingents of suffering and deviant entities of good that emanate highly toxic, unhealthy and unbalanced mental material. After all, nobody becomes holy just by changing their dimension. We carry to the beyond-grave the set of values that adorned our personality in material existence. If we are virtuous and spiritualized, by natural merit we should go to an abode of the Father's house - let us remember that Jesus clearly referred to them (see John, 14: 2) - appropriate to the progress we have made. Otherwise, we may expect places where "mourning and gnashing of teeth" probably abound (Matt. 13:42). In short, we simply look at the impartial functioning of the Law of Action and Reaction.

Returning to the above hypothesis, it is worth remembering that in the extraordinary book Obreiros da Vida Eterna, dictated by the Spirit Andre Luiz (psychography by Francisco Candido Xavier) there is a clear reference in this regard. In this book, Andre Luiz tells us about his work through learning and observing at the Transitional House of Fabiano. I.e., he had been sent to a "great pious institution in the field of harder sufferings in which newly disembodied souls gather near the Earth's Crust", founded by Fabian of Christ, a devoted servant of charity among the ancient religious of Rio de Janeiro... in the task of evangelical assistance, together with the Spirits who have recently been separated from the carnal plane".

The role of the Transitional House of Fabiano - The Spirit Geronimo, one of the workers of the institution, sensing Andrew’s unquenchable curiosity, clarifies: "In this building of Christian welfare, there are a great number of brothers loyal to doing well. They go to the Planetary Crust or to the dark spheres, where sorrows and ignorant beings struggle in pain, in prolonged transit in the dark abysses. In addition, the Transitional House of Fabiano, in the manner of other saving institutions that represent true relief temples in these regions, is also a precious link with our spiritual cities in higher areas".

The difficulties of the souls, devoted to good and to love, who work in those purgatorial regions are so intense that, in the imminence of an attack on the House by the forces of darkness, its director Zenobia opportunely explained to Andre Luiz: "The biblical tragedy of the fall of the luminous angels, in abysses of darkness, repeats itself every day, without us perceiving it in a direct sense. How many geniuses of Philosophy and Science dedicated to oppression and tyranny!!  How many souls of deep intellectual value rush into the cliff of blind and fatal forces! Thrown into the cliff by voluntary withdrawal, these unfortunate souls seldom get penalized and rarely retreat for their own benefit... Most often, within the terrible dissatisfaction of selfishness and vanity, they rebel against the Creator himself, demeaning themselves in long wars fighting His Divine works. They clash in dark and devastating legions, operating disruptive movements that defy the most astute human imagination and confirm the old mythological descriptions of Hell".

However, with an air of hope and anticipating the future progress of those unfortunate souls, Zenobia added: "But the day will come for the transformation of the perverse, disincarnated geniuses into Spirits clarified by the divine good. All evil, even if it lasts for millennia, is transitory. We are only struggling for the immortal victory of God, against the inferiority of the 'I' in our lives. Every expression of ignorance is fictitious. Only wisdom is eternal".

The purifying action of the etheric fire - It is interesting to note that the director later made reference to the necessity of the use of a vital defense instrument in that region of suffering. In other words, she had been warned that "the ethereal disintegrators" would pass the next day. And based on this information she commented: "[...] When the etheric fire comes to burn the waste of the region, we are obliged to transport ourselves with the institution, to another zone. [...]". [Italic added.]

The unforgettable spirituality reporter, in turn, felt very uncomfortable on the spot. "We remained," he said, "in an area where matter obeyed other laws, interpenetrated by extremely vicious mental principles. There were long infernal cliffs and vast areas of purgatory of guilty and repentant souls". [Italic added.]

The above quotes help - I think - to better clarify the environmental conditions of work to which Andre Luiz was momentarily linked. In general, they clarify that other measures must be taken by spiritual workers so that the negative and disturbing fluids in profusion are diluted. Thus, in chapter 10 of the aforementioned work, entitled Purification Fire, the actions developed for this purpose are described in detail. Andre Luiz describes them as follows: "We were quietly going to work, when an indescribable atmospheric shock shook the dark sky. A glimmer of terrible beauty swept the fog from top to bottom, offering, for an instant, an astonishing spectacle. It was not the lightning known in the Crust at the time of the storms, because the electric discharges of Nature on the dense ground are less precise as regards the technical orientation of the invisible order. The opposite was observed: the firestorm was to begin, methodically and mechanically". [Italic added.]

Surprised, the benefactor reported: "From the distance of many miles, we could see the flashes of the fire lit by the electric sparks in the desolate region." [Italic added.]

The electrical discharge did not stop at the surface. "At one point in the narrative, Andrew added, "... a new thunder was heard in the heights. The fire struck in many directions, still too far, as to notify us of its gradual approach. This time, however, I received the distinct impression that the electric discharge had not stopped on the surface. It had penetrated the substance under our feet, because an astonishing rumble was felt in the depths”. [Italic added.]

It is pertinent to point out that Andre Luiz noted that the work of electric disintegrators was aimed, among other things, to avoid "the appearance of magnetic storms that always arise when the inferior residues of mental matter overlap in the plane".  [Italic added.]

Andre Luiz's experiences are highly fascinating and revealing. I hope that one day some movie producer will carry this source of transcendental knowledge to the screens. I think its impact would be extraordinary and would substantially increase the reflection on the subject and how creatures conduct themselves in their bodily lives. For the time being, however, what I want to emphasize is that if there - in the darker regions of spirituality - prevailed such instruments for the restoration of the balance where there are entities inflected to the good, would not it therefore be conceivable to have something similar in our sphere?

After all, the mental material of Humanity, currently embodied, is far from expressing clarity, lucidity and purity. If we had the ability to see our thoughts-forms we would be shocked by what we shed in the spiritual environment. The present times have been extremely hard for mankind and there is no reason to believe that they will be minimized so soon. We are in the process of planetary transition.

In my childhood things were difficult, but the environment, life itself, followed a natural and predictable course. Violence occurred on an almost imperceptible scale. Put another way, the "scandals" were infinitely smaller. Perhaps this is why less destructive storms were needed to cleanse the psychosphere (spiritual environment).

As Joanna says, we are almost all sick - In contrast, today, we live with evils and difficulties of all kinds. We are advancing immensely from a technological point of view, but in moral terms our civilization remains profoundly ill... At some moments, life on Earth is almost suffocating not only by the adverse climate, but fundamentally by the plethora of events, tragedies, actions and deeds that generate unhappiness, distrust and deep malaise. There is in fact no general commitment to seek inner improvement or self-enlightenment. We are, therefore, practically illiterate in matters of spiritual knowledge, not to mention the precariousness of its application and experience.

Confirming this perception I return to the thought of the spiritual benefactor Joanna de Angelis, in the work Oferenda (psychography of Divaldo Pereira Franco): "Patients are almost all of us, in varying degrees of intensity".

In our country, for example, one sees a lot of religiosity, but one cannot say the same in terms of spiritual evolution. In addition, people live in their homes for fear of the cruelty that surrounds them, forgotten by the public power, pressed by enormous financial problems and, consequently, increasingly neglected in their elementary needs.

Corruption - a silent social disease, but extremely permeable in human societies - has settled in our social structures, severely compromising the functioning of the country and delaying the march of progress. Violence, which has reached levels never before seen, is leaving us completely astonished. We live, finally, in an environment of constant insecurity demanding faith and hope. Therefore, I think that the electrical storms in our dimension may have the function of helping - in spite of the material damages they cause and the lives they reap - in eliminating the vicious, uncontrolled and sick mental emanations we emit every day.

If the thesis is correct, they would be purification instruments duly activated by Spirituality to aid in prophylaxis of the psychosphere when it reaches high levels of instability. I also believe that without such a resource we would probably not be able to survive, such the oppression we would feel in the imo of our souls. I make it absolutely clear, finally, that in this text I only discuss possibilities and hypotheses to be confirmed or not by our luminaries of the greater life in the opportune moment.
