The ultimate end of art is...

"The Spirit Art is a tool of education and not fun, we must regard it as an excellent instrument that in a very subtle way it can change the way we see and act upon the world by awakening important reflections on the spectator." (Fabrício Alexandre Sanas, Our interviewee in this issue.)

In Spiritism, art is a tool. It does not have itself as an end.

An education tool, it can never be a simple instrument of fun or hobby, because its purpose is ultimately to educate the feelings.

The ultimate purpose of art is to show what man really is. By creating empathy, the characters portray behaviors that are like mirrors, which are instruments of identification.

Spiritist art must have a language free of prejudice. And it should, as far as possible, present itself in a light, pleasant way, facilitating understanding.

It is very often, people awaken in the other feelings forgotten as in a mirror or identification.

To be better understood, art must manifest the content in a simple way, so that it is correctly assimilated and interpreted. What it is wanted to be achieved is the sensitivity of the viewer, sensitivity that is manifested by his/her perception of what see and what feel.

"Yes, accept the other as he/she is with his/her positives and negatives. Through art it is possible to develop without imposition this ability by the simple fact that I must respect the other so that I can communicate with him/her and reach the proposed goal." (Fabrício Alexandre Sanas)

Good or bad behavior should be welcomed with indulgence, accepting people as they are. This is because, as we know, we must always act kindly to all, indulgence to the imperfections of others and unrestricted forgiveness.

"Art allows us to thrill ourselves and others. It is very common for people to hear a song and shed tears, to listen to an already known text and to have another perspective due to the form, to look at the clown and to remember how it is possible to be happy through simplicity. Something interesting is how people react to art our feelings are suffocated by adversities, difficulties of life." (Fabrício Alexandre Sanas)

Simplicity is an essential virtue consisting of detachment and material disinterest.

The simple man communicates with others according to the discipline of his own thoughts, attitudes and words.

He knows how to circumvent the complex without hurting the interlocutor's self-esteem.

He knows that we will be judged according to our attitudes.

And he usually seeks to put himself in the last place, because he lives always happy, whether in the painful experiences or in the days of goodness, which make up the different stages of a corporeal existence in the world in which we live in.
