Ronaldo Pires, from Rio Claro-SP, speaks to the magazine

“In defense of Doctrine” is the title and the theme of our editorial, which reminds Allan Kardec behavior when Spiritism was the target of attacks.

"For good planning, the timing is paramount" – this sentence sets the interview that Ronaldo Pires, from São Paulo but settled in Rio Claro (SP), gave to this journal. With a vast experience in events organizations, he talks about the importance of planning for the success of any event. The interview is one of the highlights of this number.

Another spot of this edition is the Especial “Kardec: Defender of Spiritism” written by our collaborator and writer Eurípedes Kühl, who understands that Kardec’s example in the defense of Spiritism “cannot in any way to let be followed, every time in which identical occasions happen”. Divided in two parts the Especial is going to be published in the next edition.

In the days of November 22, 23 and 24, Divaldo Franco fulfilled the important doctrinal schedule in Argentina, where he spoke in the headquarters of Confederación Espiritista Argentina to an attentive audience that crowded place. The report, written by Ênio Medeiros, is one of the spots of the current edition.

In a day like today – December 11 – disincarnated in Barcelona, 1888, José María Fernandez Colavida, from Tortosa, province of Tarragona, where he was born on March 19th, 1819. Colavida was the first translater of Kardec’s work to Spanish. In 1869 he founded the Magazine of Psychological Studies, which he was the director and the editor for 20 years. He created the Society of Barcelona, spreader of Spiritism and stablished in the Capital Cataluña the first Spirit Bookstore in the region.
