A chat with José Ricardo Honório da Silva, from Brasília

"Love and instruct each other: who ignores these teachings?" is the title of our editorial, which reflects on known warning given by the Spirit of Truth enshrined in the cap. VI in The Gospel According to Spiritism.

“We need to turn our most intimate search for the awakening of consciousness.” This phrase was told by the colleague José Ricardo Honório da Silva, founder of the Spirit Group Peixotinho (GEP), which works on the premises of the Air Force Command in Brasília (DF). In addition to coordinating the activities of the GEP, the confrere is a speaker and active participant in the Spirit Center House of Lazarus. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another spot is the especial titled “Second to the advent of Christ”, by Eurípedes Kühl, from Ribeirão Preto (SP). According to the writer, a second advent of Christ can happen perfectly, as he stated categorically, without saying he would come back to Earth clothed in human flesh.

It has started yesterday, 19th, with André Trigueiro’s lecture the 24ª Spirit Week of Londrina, traditional spirit event that it happened for the first time in 1992. A report about the event brings the full agenda of the Spirit Week starting this Sunday. The report is also one of the highlights of the current edition.

In the last Thursday, September 17th, it was the 150th anniversary of the first Brazilian spirit society in Salvador (BA): Familiar Group of Spiritism, founded in 9/17th/1865, by the pioneer Luís Olímpio Teles de Menezes, who would found later in 1869 the first Brazilian spirit journal – The Eco Beyond the Grave
