The planet we live in: a house in refurbishment

The general framework of time, past, present and future express important moments in the lives of individuals and peoples.

Defined as the time it took certain event it is in the past that we will find the reasons and causes of the adventures of the days we experience.

Between the past and the future, present is the current time, it is the moment that it can do differently what we could not do in the past.

As for the future, it defined as the time to come, for many is the goal, the aim, the reason that compels us to correct the mistakes we have made throughout life, since, as we are taught in spirit doctrine, our multiple existences are interconnected.

In testimony transcribed in this same magazine, the known speaker José Raul Teixeira, talking about the consequences of slavery that ruled Brazil for three centuries and a half, he said: 

"We cannot forget that multiple masters and mistresses of slaves, and many who took advantage of this spurious practice, they find themselves reincarnated again on Brazil land in order to redeem, by various means, the heavy burden of crimes against fraternity and against humanity of the slave periods of our country." An important spirit writer once said - talking about the future - that if the difficulties faced in the present are rooted in the past, it is worth bearing in mind that our future depends on the moment that now we experience - and this will then be our past.

Do we want a better condition tomorrow?

Let us do from now on to earn it!

Did we make many errs in past lives?

We seek to correct these errors, doing the best that is possible now to our range!

On a planet like ours - "a house under refurbishment", according to known expression of Emmanuel - not surprising what the press has shown us every time.

Political crises, economic crises, widespread corruption, armed conflicts, terrorist actions, crowds fleeing poverty and violence, adults and even children victimized in this fight by the search for better living conditions, here is a sad elusive picture and complex solution, that makes up the scenario of a planet that would have everything to be happy, yet not.

These challenges invite us all together to seek solve them.

As proposed by Claudia Gelernter in her article Overcoming, according to Jesus, one of the highlights of this edition, lets be humbled by the proposals of life and strong in facing problems, overcoming, through love and trust in God, all obstacles that prevent our world progress and may, in fact, rise to a new condition in which life on Earth is an expression of peace and happiness.

Is this goal possible?

Yes, of course it is possible, more than possible, foretold by Jesus himself, to know: 

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; behold, not dismayed, because it is necessary that it all happen, but still not the end. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in several places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Then shall many be offended, and shall betray one will one another, and will hate one another. And many false prophets, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But those who endured to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24: 6-14.)
