The magazine O Consolador (The Comforter)  becomes eight years old with this edition, and it is a result of the work of a team of volunteers. They do everything to make this magazine circulate and benefit Brazilian readers and those abroad too.

Concern with the divulgation of Spiritist texts – During these 8 years, our purpose is to provide a systematic and continuously propagation of the Spiritist Doctrine through articles, interviews, sequential studies of Spiritist works and publication of books. This can be seen through the following numbers:

• 3,672 articles published

• 408 interviews

• 55 Spiritis works methodically studied, namely: 20 classics of Spiritism, 15 books of Allan Kardec, 13 books of Andre Luiz and 7 of Manoel Philomeno de Miranda.

• 28 digital books published by EVOC – Editora Virtual O CONSOLADOR (EVOC - The Comforter’s Virtual Publisher).

EVOC’s debut - The Comforter’s Virtual Publisher started less than two years ago, precisely on 04/18/2013, focused on the digital book, also known as virtual book, electronic book or e-book.

The works published by EVOC are offered to the public at no cost. The reader can access them on his computer or tablet, or download them for printing purposes, provided that its purpose is not commercial. This project is free. Its main goal is the global access to Spiritist teachings. EVOC therefore follows the same principles guiding the magazine The Comforter, which can be accessed and read freely, with no payment, registration, and password.
