“The evil that hurts us” is the title of the editorial of this week, which refers to the wave of violence that affects so many people and shows what should be done so that this evil is solved and effectively overcome. 

Manuel Felipe Menezes da Silva Junior, President of the Spiritist Federation of Amapa (FEA), is interviewed this week. Prosecutor in Macapa, capital of Amapa, where he lives, and our colleague tells us about the actions that the FEA has promoted for disclosure of the Spiritual Doctrine in the State where he lives. The matter is one of the highlights of this edition. 

Another highlight is the article "Physiology of Reincarnation", written by Ricardo de Oliveira Baesso, physician in Juiz de Fora (MG) and member of the Editorial Board of this journal. In the article, the topic is examined by making five questions: What is the purpose of reincarnation? Why do we reincarnate? When do we reincarnate? Where do we reincarnate? How do we reincarnate? 

On the 10th of the current month of January, the meeting known by the name: "You and Peace Movement" was held for the first time in the city of Natal, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, an initiative of Divaldo Franco, organized by the Spiritist Federation of Rio Grande do Norte. The report of the event is one of the highlights of this week.

In this issue we begin the methodical and sequential study of the book "The dead speak to us", authored by Father François Brune. Based on the 1st edition, published in 1991, by Edicel, the study is divided into 12 parts, and, therefore, it will be published in this journal in 12 editions.
