Edson de Jesus Sardano, from Santo André-SP speaks
with the magazine

This week’s editorial "The world needs to pray like never before" emphasizes the importance of prayer as one of the factors that can contribute to the moral improvement of the people and the world we live in.

Our interviewee this week is the colleague Edson Jesus Sardano, retired Colonel of the Military Police and city councillor of Santo André. In the interview, which was given to our collaborator Orson Peter Carrara, the colleague focuses on the subject Politics and Spiritism and analyzes the political climate we live in our country. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight is the special article titled "Lucy is Eve? Creationists issues and Evolutionism", written by colleague Almir Del Prette from São Carlos-SP. In his article, the author weaves considerations surrounding the origins of human beings on our planet.

The writer and Spiritist lecturer Suely Caldas Schubert completed in the period from November 1st to 7th, a series of doctrinal commitments in the cities Novo Hamburgo, Osório, Capão da Canoa, Balneário Quintão, Taquari and Santa Cruz do Sul, as reported by our collaborator Paul Salerno. The article is one of the highlights of this edition.

On this date - November 23rd - Amélie Gabrielle Boudet was born in Thiais, France, in 1795, and later, in 1832, married the future encoder of Spiritism, Allan Kardec. According to the researcher Silvino Canuto de Abreu, Amélie was Professor of Humanities and Fine Arts, and was also the author of the following works: "Spring Tales" (1825), "Understanding Design" (1826) and "The Essential of Fine Arts" (1828). After the death of Kardec on March 31st, 1869, she took over all necessary duties in managing Spiritism in France.
