Breno Ortiz Tavares Costa speaks to the magazine

This week’s editorial "Is there life after death?" comments on what the Spiritist doctrine presents us about the continuity of life after death, showing that to spiritists the problem of death is properly explained.

Our interview this week is Breno Ortiz Costa Tavares, from Marília-SP. In the interview given to our collaborator Orson Peter Carrara, the colleague tells us about his book on depression and the results that readers of the book have achieved in overcoming the so-called evil of the century. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight of the week is special titled "Passes: Basic Guidelines" written by our colleague Jorge Leite de Oliveira, from Brasilia-DF. The pass is, as we know, the most recognized spiritist practice for people attending the spiritist centers in our country.

The life and work of the poet and orator José Soares Cardoso, from Sergipe, who died on June 16th, 1991, is the subject of a special report this week, written by Marcel Battaglia. The article is also one of the highlights of this edition.

Tomorrow, November 10th, the spiritist community celebrates one more anniversary of the birth of Amalia Domingo Soler, a native of Seville, Spain, where she was born in 1835.

Writer and great exponent of the Spanish Spiritist movement, due to her performance as a publisher and psychograph medium, Amalia is very well known in Brazil because of her works, among which stands out the book Memories of Father Germano, dictated by her spiritual guide.
