Marco Tulio Michalick tells us about his new book

“Suicide and its harmful consequences” is the title of this week's editorial, in which the consequences of suicide are examined. The total of suicides, according to a World Health Organization report exceeds each year the number of deaths caused by homicides and wars. 

Marco Tulio Michalick is once again interviewed by our magazine, and this time to tell us about his new book - His Legacy to the World - with beautiful and exciting stories. The writer, who was born in Belo Horizonte (state of Minas Gerais) belongs to the Spiritist Movement in the city of Brasilia (FD), where he lives. The interview is one of the highlights of this present edition.   

The other highlight is the Special: “Grow old and die - A biological and spiritual approach”, written by Ricardo Baesso de Oliveira, a physician living in Juiz de Fora (state of Minas gerais) and member of the Editorial Board of this magazine. The article was divided into two parts and will be ended next week. 

From Agust 14 to 17 at the Hotel Iberostar Praia do Forte, in the state of Bahia, a Fraternal Meeting with Divaldo Franco took place, as shown in the report of Paulo Salerno, which is also one of the highlights of this issue.

Today - August 24th - the Spiritist Federation of Parana completes 112 years. It was founded in 1902, and its first President was Joao Urbano de Assis Rocha. We congratulate the workers and directors of this institution!
