A chat with the psycho-pedagogue Marcos Paterra

“Brazil aft
er the World Cup"
is the title of our editorial, with considerations about the 2014 World Cup, a beautiful party that ended 14 days ago, the outcome of which, however, not even the most pessimistic of Brazilians could imagine.

Interviewed by our collaborator Marcus Braga, the speaker and spiritist psycho-pedagogue Marcos Paterra, from João Pessoa-PB, talks about the important issue of inclusion of special children in spiritist institutions. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight is the special article "Roustaing and Ubaldi: the strange union of schismatic forces", authored by Leonardo Marmo Moreira, who understands that Roustainguism, also known as Rustenism, remains the biggest scourge of the Brazilian Spiritist movement.

Marcel Battaglia focuses on the work being carried out in Londrina by the Meimei Spiritist Center, which, besides its doctrinal activities, performs important work of social promotion. The story is also one of the highlights of this edition.

On July 26th is celebrated within the Spiritist midst the Spiritist Press Day, a tribute to the launch on this same date in 1869 of the first Spiritist periodical published in Portuguese - Echo from Beyond the Tomb, created by the pioneer Luis Olímpio Telles de Menezes, who had founded years before the Family Group of Spiritism, the first spiritist center in Brazil.
