Statement attributed to Zibia Gasparetto stirs controversy
 

“Zibia in IstoÉ: an unfortunate statement” is the title of the editorial in this issue that focuses on the controversy that came up with the statement attributed to the medium Zibia Gasparetto by IstoÉ, in its issue no. 2272. According to the text published in the magazine, Chico Xavier would have regretted having assigned the rights to the books by him psychographed.

One of the highlights of this edition is the interview with our collaborator Guaraci Lima Silveira by composer and singer Antonio Emanuel Camelo Figueiredo (Totonho) Caruaru-PE. In the interview, Totonho, as our confrere is best known, talks about the importance of music in spiritist activities.

Another highlight is the special entitled "Paul and James: The Ethics of Otherness", authored by our collaborator Antonio Augusto do Nascimento, Sant'Angelo-RS. In the article, Antonio examines the deployment of the first crisis that befell on the early days of the Christian movement, about the circumcision issue.

Important seminar on "Psychic Responsibility" was held last month by the Union of Spiritist Societies of the State of Sao Paulo - District Vila Maria, as reports on this particular matter, our collaborator Martha Rios Guimaraes. The report is also one of the highlights of this edition.

This week we begin the sequential and methodical study of another work of Andre Luiz, psychograped by the medium Francisco Candido Xavier. Entitled "And life goes on ...", the work was originally published in 1968.
