In this edition, the conclusion of the interview with the president of the FEB

This week’s editorial, “A Fish without a Bicycle” comments on the phrase "A man without religion is like a fish without a bicycle," a thought that has become a current fad.

One of the highlights of this edition is the conclusion of the interview the president of the Brazilian Spiritist Federation, Antonio Cesar Perri de Carvalho, granted to our collaborator Jorge Hessen, from Brasília-DF. In the interview, whose first part was published in the last issue, Cesar Perri talks about the challenges he has been facing in coordinating the Brazilian Spiritist Movement.

Another highlight of this edition is the special article titled “Do the spiritual cities exist?” authored by our collaborator Christina Nunes, from Rio de Janeiro. According to Christina, it is a mistake to say that there are no spiritual cities because that information is not found in the basic works, which is not true.

The course Training Spiritist Educators for Children and Youth, taught by USE São Paulo, was held once again in Santos-SP on May 4th as shown in the special report by Martha Rios Guimarães, which is also one of the highlights of this edition.

This week the calendar marked the birth of Elizabeth D'Esperance on May 13th, one of the most important mediums in the history of Spiritism. Her birth occurred in 1849 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
