How we face criticism

A reader participation, greatly facilitated thanks to the tools available on the internet, it is and will always be fundamental to the vitality of the journals, whether or not spirit.

It’s published in it without any censorship, all messages that are sent weekly to the editor followed by the appropriate response, as applicable.

Reading the letters that are sent to us, we can see that type of concern or issue has attracted the attention of our readers.

Many among them leverage this communication channel to resolve questions or get clarification on specific issues, but there are also those who, commenting on this or that matter, explicitly reveal whether or not liked what they’ve read.

Regarding criticism, it is not hard to see that many, indeed most, have constructive purpose, although some of them are not moved by similar feelings.

How it is few people who receive, without disturbing, criticism of writing, we’ve already exposed to some employees the position we consider more accurate in relationship with those we read.

Here's what we think about those who criticize us: 

• If the criticism states merely a personal opinion of the reader, we said nothing, because all people have the right to like or dislike what we publish.

• If the criticism has some wrong data, some misinterpretation or information, we respond to the reader, making, in our response, the due repair.

• Finally, if the critic points to our error, we respond to the reader and, for consistency, rectify what it has to be rectified.

It is necessary that we all understand that although our purpose is serious and devoid of any subordinate interest, we are not perfect creatures and therefore we can make mistakes. What we should not do, obviously, it is to persist in error, because there is a sort of stubbornness characterized, inconceivable in the conduct of someone who says spiritist.
