We continue the methodical study of the Pentateuch Kardec, which focuses on the five major works of the spiritual doctrine, in the order they were first published by Allan Kardec, the Encoder of Spiritualism.

The answers to the questions suggested for discussion was the end of the text below.

A. As our spiritual protectors behave before we face the vicissitudes?

268. Intelligence is far from being a sure sign of superiority, because intelligence and morality do not always go together. Can a Spirit be good, kind and have limited knowledge, while another, intelligent and educated, can be much lower in morality. It is common belief that, wondering if the Spirit of a man who was wise on Earth, more safely if you get the truth. This is logical, but it is not always the case. While still find themselves under the rule of the prejudices of earthly life, they do not immediately spoil the spirit of the system and can see less clearly than we suppose. Hence we conclude that human science they have not proof of its infallibility as spirits. (Item 265)

272. The spirits who deceive men will be punished, and his punishment is proportionate to the seriousness of deception. If we were not flawed, we would have around us but good spirits if we are deceived, only ourselves we should complain. God allows so happens, to try our perseverance and our discernment and to teach us to distinguish truth from error. If we do not, is that we are not very high and we need lessons learned. (Item 268, question 9)

273. Not always the spirits who mislead us proceed with full knowledge of what they do. There are good spirits, but ignorant and can make mistakes in good faith. Since we are aware of their ignorance, and this suit only say what they know. (Item 268, question 12)

274. The man always has some weaknesses that draw mocking spirits. He believes strong and often is not. Should therefore always suspicious of weakness born of pride and prejudice. Nobody takes a lot to these two causes of decline, which take advantage of the Spirits, flattering manias, they are sure of success. (Item 268, question 15)

275. Envious and evil spirits can do, on the ground of evil, which men do. That is why they must be on guard. Own language to sow discord and mistrust is always the work of an evil spirit, whatever the name with which garnish. Communications of spirits, we must keep, according to them, just as there is a beautiful, large, rational, and what our conscience approve. (Item 268, question 17)

276. There are people for whom the higher spirits are more interested than others, and when they deem appropriate, the preserve of the attacks of lies. Against these people deceiving spirits nothing can. There is this bias, there is justice. Good spirits are interested in using judiciously discern College and work seriously to improve themselves. Answers to questions 

A. As our spiritual protectors behave before we face the vicissitudes? 

The protectors can help us bear them with more resignation and even mitigate them sometimes, but in the interest of our future, not allowed to exempt ourselves from them. Is that a good father does not give his son everything he wants. The spiritual protectors in many instances can show us the best way, but without lead us by the hand; advise us by inspiration and make us so all the merit of good, like all responsibility for the bad choice. If there is childishness to interrogate the spirits for frivolous things, not the least is the part of the spirits who occupy the things that you can call home, may be good, but they are certainly still much ground. (The Mediums Book, item 291, paragraph 19.)

B. Spirits can teach us everything we want?

No, there are things that would question them in vain, either because they are prohibited from revealing them, either because they themselves ignore them and about which we can only give personal opinions. (Ibid., item 300.)

C. What is the aim of the essential and exclusive Spiritism?

The essential goal, exclusive, of Spiritualism is the improvement of men, and is to hit it that enables spirits start them later in life by offering them examples that can take advantage of. The more we identify with the spirit world that awaits us, but we will leave that penalty we are right now. In summary, this is the aim of spiritist revelation. (Ibid., item 292, paragraph 22.)

D. What Spiritism is most beautiful and comforting?

They are, without dispute, relations between the visible and the invisible, the men and the beings that they are expensive and thought were lost forever. It is these relationships that identify the man off with his future and the material world. Suppress this exchange equates to dive again the human creature in question that makes your tomentum and feeds your selfishness. (Ibid., item 301, paragraph 7.)
