Obsession and the issue of egg shaped spiritual bodies   

We present in this issue the topic #125 from the Systematized Study of the Spiritist Doctrine, that is being presented weekly, according to the programme elaborated by the Brazilian Spiritist Federation (FEB), structured in 6 modules and 147 topics.

Text

The child must be treated with care and attention

1. Like in any other disease that affects children, we always have the will to protect them and make the pain go away. The child suffering from obsession is often irritated and with a serious behavioural problem that cannot be totally explained by Psychology.

2. Children affected by Obsession reincarnate strongly connected to memories of situations from the past, partially remembering sufferings they lived or sufferings that they imposed to others in the spiritual world. The new existence relieves their moral pain, being a good opportunity to change themselves, practicing patience, resignation and humility.

3. Spiritism in the institutions can help these children affected by Obsession through mesmeric passes and fluidic water, but it’s important that they are treated with care and attention. If usually children require attention and care as basic psychological needs, the ones affected by obsession have even more need to be loved because of their suffering.   

4. It’s important the orientation of Spiritism to these children’s parents, for them to understand better the difficulties of this situation, learning how to help their children and themselves. They are probably accomplices from past lives or enemies from the past who are united in this life to go through probations together. The parents should often pray at home to improve their home’s environment with good vibrations from good spirits. The spiritual lessons, taught at the institutions that teach Spiritism, can also help children affected by Obsession to overcome the spiritual difficulties that they are going through.

A fixated self hypnotising idea can change the form of the perispirit

5. There are many consequences that come from spiritual disturbance and ideas of revenge. One of them is the shape of an egg that the perispirit takes, and it can happen in the following cases:

Disincarnated spirits in deep disturbed mental state, fixating their thoughts in revenge or sick ideas – These spirits surround the ones who are subject of their prosecution or attention and they hypnotise themselves with their own ideas that keep being repeated nonstop in their own minds. This is what we call a fixated self hypnotising idea. In this case, the perispirit takes the shape of an egg attaching themselves to their victims who, in general, accept their influence. They accept it because they feel guilt, regret or hate which are factors that contribute for the occurrence of obsession.

Criminals - When dyeing, these spirits can be tormented by the repetition of their own mistakes, playing them over and over in their minds, hallucinating and losing contact with reality. The fixated thoughts can result in fixated self hypnotising idea as the case above, where the spiritual body takes the shape of an egg.

Spirits of savages - The savage man, when returning to the spiritual world after the death of their body, usually fears what they don’t know. Used to living their life in a primitive way, they only know life in a tribe, have as their home a place on Earth where they used to live and  they want to be in the company of their own kind. They feed themselves from vibrations from the ones who think and act like them. In these occasions, the fixated  self hypnotising idea is present. The thought that comes from their minds stays in a closed circuit. It’s the fixated idea. With no other distractions, the organs from their spiritual body retract like organs in the physical body would when paralysed. These organs will change form until they look like a live embryo inside an egg. So it’s said in this case that the disincarnated spirit lost his/hers spiritual body, becoming an egg shaped spiritual one. This egg shaped spiritual body has all the organs of the soul like when it was his/hers physical body. Very similar to seeds that will become the tree of the future.

Reincarnation allows egg shaped spiritual bodies to come back to normal

6. It’s understood that egg shaped spiritual bodies are a result of retraction or deformity caused by a fixated depressing idea like in a closed circuit. In this closed circuit the disincarnated spirit detach itself from any other ideas or thoughts, to be stuck in one single idea which is not good.

7. Spirits that influence people negatively use this egg shaped spiritual body to intensify their influence on their victims attaching themselves to them. This is called spiritual symbiosis, where the victims start living in the environment that these bad spirits created. This gets worse with the vibration from the egg shaped spiritual bodies, which is a serious process of subjugation that can lead to brain damage and damage of other organs.

8. Only through reincarnation, together with the new physical body, it’s when the spiritual body in the shape of an egg can return to its original shape. Reincarnation in this case is like a surgery of reconstruction of organs like it happens in cases of cerebral damages caused by suicide.
