Rafael was a
very agitated
boy. He could
not stop even a
minute!

Since he was a
little child he
used give his
parents a lot of
work. They tried
to protect him
at all times.
Rafael reached
eight years of
age at last.

broken his leg

cut his head

traffic light is

Rafael was
always in a
rush, and never
paid attention.
One day, Rafael
was coming back
home and saw one
friend across
the road. He ran
to find towards
him. His mum,
who was by his
side, couldn’t
stop Rafael. She
was only able to
scream:

Pay attention to
the car!
There was no
time. The
vehicle could
not stop on
time.
The driver got
scared when the
boy crossed the
road. He tried
to avoid him,
but still hit
the boy.
He went to the
ground.
A lot of people
were at the
scene. The
ambulance was
called, and
Rafael was taken
to hospital.

Rafael remained
asleep.
He hit his head
and was
unconscious.
Fortunately,
nothing
agravating
happened.
Meanwhile,
Rafael realised
he was in a
different place.
He looked around
and found
everything so
beautiful.

He saw a young
man approaching
him. He was
shining
brightly. This
man looked at
Rafael very
seriously and
asked:
— You almost
came back
earlier than you
needed to come.
— Me? Come back
where to?
— To the
spiritual world!
Is not what you
have been

all the time? —
This man asked
him.

— No!...
I don’t want to
leave my family,
my school, my
friends, my
body!
He man then
said, in a very
calm way:
— If this is
true, you need
to be more
careful, Rafael.
Look after your
body. Protect it
from dangerous
situations.
You are the best
friend he has
and it is your
biggest treasure
in this life.
Avoid coming
back earlier.
This is your
responsability.
Suddenly, Rafael
woke up at the
hospital. He saw
his parents, who
looked really
worried.
They were happy
to see him
awaken. They
were crying.
— Please don’t
cry!
I promise, from
now on, to be
more careful.
He told his
parents the
conversation he
had with a
bright looking
man.
They understood
what happened
whilst he was
asleep. It was
an answer from
God to their
prayers. They
decided to raise
their thoughts
and pray to
God.
From this day
onwards, Rafael
became a
different
person. He was
still a child
who played and
had a lot of
fun, but he was
much more
careful with
life. He
respected his
body and
incarnation with
a lot of good
care.
