The Belgian Congress of Medicine and Spirituality
was a success

One of the highlights of this issue is the interview which Teresa Cristina Rossi, from Monte Santo de Minas (MG), delivered to our collaborator and editor Orson Peter Carrara, in which she talks about the importance of the work done with the Spiritist youth.

Spiritist since 1987, Teresa got closer to Spiritism to understand the reasons of her own existence. Attending the Spiritist Center Love and Charity, which complete its first centenary in the beginning of 2008, she coordinates the activities of the Spiritist Youth.

Another highlight of this issue is the special story entitled “The multidisciplinarity of the jurisdictional function”, written by the confrere Délcio Miranda da Rocha, Law Judge living in Londrina (PR). In his article, the author quotes Nalini, whose the magistrate should pronounce the sentence with feelings and not be reduced to a mere bureaucrat repeater of others’ opinions, trying to please the majority.

In the end of October in Liege, the third largest city in Belgium, the 1st Congress of Medicine and Spirituality took place, promoted by the Belgian Spiritist Union. Claudia Werdine reports, in a special story, how the congress fared.

We finish in this issue the study on the book Christianity and Spiritism, by Leon Denis, in which will be followed, from next week on, the study of the book The Soul is Immortal, by Gabriel Delanne.

The text of the Systematized Study of the Spiritist Doctrine (ESDE), from the issue number 2 of this magazine, has been translated to Spanish, as well as the previous entry, as you can check it out. The translation of the ESDE texts is another contribution of our partner Isabel Porras Gonzales, from Spain, and we thank her effort.
