Vanessa Santos talks about the Spiritist movement in New Zealand

Our magazine keeps the commitment to interview monthly a Spiritist personality living outside Brazil, and for that we have to thank the journalist Katia Fabiana Fernandes, who has been doing so diligently, with joy.

One of the highlights of this issue is another interview made by Katia, featuring this time the young Vanessa Santos, mineira from Belo Horizonte, now living in Auckland, New Zealand.

With a degree in Journalism, Vanessa talks on the interview about plenty of current topics, such as abortion, euthanasia, violence and tells us about the Spiritist movement in her country.

In this issue we are also publishing the last part of the study which our confrere Alírio de Cerqueira Filho wrote about three psychographed books by the medium Wanderley S. de Oliveira, who also wrote Lilies of Hope.

In the Italian city of Lecco, Spiritist leaders from many European countries took part, on May 16-18, in another meeting held by CEI – International Spirtist Council, Europe branch. Claudia Werdine, our correspondent in Europe, talks about the details.

*

In this issue, just like the previous one, we bring you 5 texts in English and in Spanish, thanks to the collaboration of our confreres Felipe Darella and Mercedes Cruz Reyes, respectively.

Many readers have inquired us as to the same texts translated to French and Esperanto. We are really looking forward to it, but it will depend on our confreres, just like Felipe and Mercedes, to take on the translation part, as we cannot afford this service. All those who take part in this journal, at our various functions, do it graciously, disinterestedly.
