How to adapt the Spiritist teaching to the language of our time

This is the reflection that Ely Matos and Ricardo Baesso de Oliveira, participants of the Spiritist movement in Juiz de Fora (MG), make in the Special entitled Teaching of Spiritism: A language for the 21st century. The presupposition of the presented reflection is that, according to the columnists, the dynamics of the speech, the communication techniques and the ways of presenting the ideas portray their time and evolve like all things. The article is one of the highlights of this issue.

Another highlight is the interview given to us by Marco Antonio Maiuri Miranda, director of the Spiritist Center Meditation and Charity, in São Paulo, capital city. Graduated in Administration, our interviewee is, professionally, a commercial representative and, in spiritist matters, in addition to acting as a medium, including in fluid therapy works, he is a speaker.

Jorge Leite de Oliveira, from Brasília (DF), reminds us of important facts that occurred in the life of Zilda Gama, the medium who psychographed the book The diary of the Invisibles, published in 1929, with messages from Allan Kardec and Victor Hugo, which she later psychographed the novels In Shadow and in LightFrom Calvary to InfinityRedemptionUltimate PainCrucified Souls and In the Blessed Harvest.
