in our midst
The idea came from a scholar
spirit group from the city
Juiz de Fora (MG), where the
confrere Ely Matos
participates and one of the
virtual community organizer
on the website ESPIRITA.INFO,
whose aim is to offer
studies, courses, spiritual
distance treatment and
fraternal service for free,
always online and its goal
is to spread spirit
knowledge. Ely Matos tells
us about the project and his
proposal in a given

“The obsession by spirit
vision” is the title and the
theme of the Especial
published this edition by
the writer, educator and
scholar Marcus De Mario from
Rio de Janeiro (RJ). In the
article, after defining the
obsession under the light of
spirit teachings, the writer
examines the obsession
process at different sides,
from its causes, types and
levels to treatment. The
Especial is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Yesterday, 22 of August, it
was recorded another
disincarnation’s anniversary
of Leopoldo Machado which
occurred in 1957. He was
born in Arraial de Cepa
Forte, a city which nowadays
is called Jandaíra (BA).
Leopoldo Machado was
introduced to the Spirit
Doctrine by the hands of
José Petitinga in 1915,
however, it was in Nova
Iguaçu (RJ) he excelled as a
journalist, writer and
spreader of Spiritism. Ana
