Virgílio Góes speaks to the
magazine
José Virgílio Góes, is from
Santa Catarina by birth and
from Paraná by heart, is our
interviewee. He has been
spirit for 80 years, it was
in Florianópolis, his
hometown, that he started,
as a child, his journey in
the spirit activities, first
as an evangelist and then as
an evangelizer. An officer
of the Brazilian Army, he
lived, depending on his
position, in different
locations, such as in the
state of Amazonas, where he
chaired the local Spirit
Federation. He is settled in
Curitiba for many years, he
is currently effective
advisor to the Spirit
Federation of Paraná and
advisor to the entity's
presidency. The interview
given to us is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Another highlight is the
special The
transformation of the soul, by
our collaborator Guaraci de
Lima Silveira, from Juiz de
Fora (MG). In the article,
he tells us that there will
be a time when human beings
will reach a level within
evolution that nothing will
be an impediment to their
progress. He will then walk
on a floor of stars,
learning and participating
in Creation no longer as a
crawling being that begs for
crumbs, but as an airy being
who floats.
The third highlight is a
special article signed by
Angélica Reis, which focuses
on the 13 years of existence
of the magazine The
Comforter (O Consolador)
and the 7 years of EVOC´s
foundation, the virtual
publisher maintained by the
magazine, whose birth
anniversary, in both cases,
is celebrated on April 18th.
As we know, the launch of
this magazine took place on
April 18, 2007, when The
Spirits' Book, by Allan
Kardec, has celebrated 150
years old.
