The physician Edson Luis Cardoso speaks to our magazine

"The planetary transition and its determinants" is the title and subject of our editorial, which makes considerations about the transition that takes place in our world.

Edson Luis Cardoso, a psychiatrist and president of the Medical-Spiritist Association of the city of Santo Angelo - in the State of Rio Grande do Sul - talks about a new tool for the volunteers of self-help groups, who work in the treatment of chemical dependency, the thesis he presented to the examination board. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight is the Special written by our collaborator Anselmo Ferreira Vasconcelos, from Sao Paulo (SP), entitled "Do electric storms improve the psychosphere?" Were these storms tied to other aspects of an eminently spiritual nature? The writer believes that yes and says in his article why he thinks so.

At the end of April, Divaldo Franco gave the Conscience and Freedom Workshop at the Fiesta Convention Center in Salvador (BA), attended by 1,700 people, as shown by our collaborator Paulo Salerno in a special issue that is also one of the highlights of this edition.

On a May 7th day like today, Pedro de Camargo was born in 1878, in the city of Piracicaba (SP), an educator, writer and notable Spiritist divulger, whose work in education is still a reference today.

Better known in the Spiritist area by the pseudonym Vinicius, he left us important works such as Em torno do Mestre (Around the Master), Na Seara do Mestre (In the Master's Harvest), Nas Pegadas do Mestre (In the Footsteps of the Master) and O Mestre na Educação (The Master in Education), besides having played an important role in the Spiritist movement of the State of Sao Paulo. He disembodied on October 11, 1966, in the city of Sao Paulo, where he lived.
