A chat with Édo Mariani

“Temptations” is the title of our editorial, which goal is to show by the spirit teachings the difference between trial and temptation.

The confrere Édo Mariani, from Matão (SP), is our interviewee. Getting close to be 90 years old, the known spirit from Matão talks about his experience in spirit midst, getting on well with Cairbar Schutel and Hugo Gonçalves and the work done ahead of the Spirit Community Cairbar Schutel. The interview is one of our highlights of the current edition. 

Another spot is the especial titled “Forgiveness!”, written by our collaborator Wellington Balbo, from Salvador (BA), who affirms in his article that forgive and forgive yourself is also a fundamental task to conquer a little bit of harmony in this world of tests and atonement.

On this date José Herculano Pires would celebrate another birthday. He was born in Avaré (SP), on 09/25/1914, Herculano disembodied on 09/03/1979 in São Paulo capital city. Poet, writer, professor, translator and journalist, Herculano stood out as one of the most spreader of Spiritism in the country and author of many important works, for example “The Spirit and the Time”, it was chosen as one of the ten most important spirit books of the twentieth century, according to a survey done by Candeia Organizations.
