The snack

It was a very beautiful summer day. The Fox decided to make a delicious snack to enjoy the afternoon and decided to call her new neighbor Stork to share it.

Stork was very happy with the invitation, as it was the chance to make a new friend. She picked some flowers to offer to
the Fox and went to the neighbor's house at the agreed time.

As soon as she knocked the door, the Stork was thoughtful. "The Fox was very kind to invite me, but I don't think I'll be able to eat anything. Her plates should be shallow, and the glasses are probably small, appropriate for a fox..." The Stork sighed. "Even if I can't eat anything because of my beak, I think we can have a nice talk."

The Fox opened the door and welcomed the Stork with a big smile. "What beautiful flowers! How kind, Stork! Thank you so much!" The Fox invited her in and took her to the table.

The Stork was surprised to notice that there was a very tall glass and very long cutlery next to a large and decorated plate. On the other side of the table, there was a plate also decorated, but smaller, and glasses and small cutlery.

"Stork, I made this fruit salad for you. I also have muffins that I think you'll like, and this lemonade is very refreshing. Would you like it?"

"Everything looks delicious! But I have to say that I'm more in awe of this glass and the cutlery", laughed the Stork.

"Well, I wanted to make sure you could share lunch with me! I want you to be comfortable in my house," explained the Fox as she arranged the flowers in a vase.

The Fox and the Stork had a very pleasant afternoon. When they said goodbye, at the end of the afternoon, the Stork once again thanked the Fox for her affection and invited her to lunch at her house the next day. Arriving there, the Fox was welcomed with beautiful plates, cutlery and cups the right size for a fox.

The two friends offered the best they could to each other. And that's how, doing to others what we would like them to do to us, coexistence is always better.
