6th Spiritist Congress of
Uberlândia
From the 20th to the 22nd of
January, Web Rádio
Fraternidade promoted the
6th Spiritist Congress of
Uberlândia. Resuming the
face-to-face format, the
event, which took place at
the Palácio de Cristal,
featured several musical
performances and the
participation of speakers
from all over the country,
such as the vice president
of the Brazilian Spiritist
Federation, Geraldo Campetti,
and filmmaker Wagner de
Assis. A special article
published in this edition
shows us how the Spiritist
youth saw the event and its
importance.
She was born in Juiz de Fora
(MG), where she lives,
Sandra Eiterer is our
interviewee this Sunday. She
is connected to the
Spiritist Military Crusade (Cruzada
dos Militares Espíritas) –
Juiz de Fora nucleus –, in
which she is part of the
board, she is secretary of
the House of Francisco
Brother (Casa Irmão
Francisco), in her city. In
the interview given, she
tells us, among other
things, about her experience
in spiritist work.
“Acedia and the enthusiasm
in us” is the title of the
special written by our
collaborator Paulo Hayashi
Jr. and which constitutes
one of the highlights of
this issue. Acedia, a term
little known by the general
public, expresses the state
of torpor or apathy that can
affect human beings, but
which can be overcome, as
the columnist indicates in
his article.
