The Gospel at Home

There was a family that prayed every night. The father, mother and kids would gather in the living room, at a set time, say a prayer, read a passage from the Gospel of Jesus and make comments on the teaching of the night.

It wasn't a lengthy meeting. Even so, in the beginning, it was common for one of the children to feel bad having to stop what they were doing to participate in the Gospel meeting at home.

But it was no use complaining. The parents were strict with this commitment and little by little the family adjusted and incorporated that habit.

Parents knew the importance of family prayer. And also, about the study of the Gospel, which is a true roadmap for our lives.

During the meeting, in addition to the teachings, everyone received good vibrations and the help of the good spirits who also participated in the meeting, even without being noticed.

These friendly spirits, seeing that the family was making an effort to cultivate the ideals of Jesus, of love and peace, came to help them in whatever way possible.

They approached, transmitted good feelings, involving everyone in a very good feeling. They also conveyed good thoughts, which encouraged each member of the family to have strength, patience, courage, and kindness to solve their problems, to make good resolutions or to achieve their commitments well.

The family was helped in many ways, in several areas of life. They could not see or hear the influence of good spirits, but they could feel that they were always being supported by God, through these messengers of good.

Therefore, the practice of the Gospel at home was so important to them and, certainly, it helped them a lot to be a happy family.
