This week’s editorial, “Doctor
Xavier and abortion”,
addresses the spiritist
teachings on abortion and
the spiritual consequences
arising from this practice.
One of the highlights of
this edition is an interview
given to our collaborator
Guaraci de Lima Silveira by
Suely Aparecida Pinheiro
Raimundo, well-known
researcher in the area of
Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP)
who currently resides in
Porto Alegre, capital of Rio
Grande do Sul. The interview
covers the the situation of
EVP in our country, its
researches and advances.
Another highlight of this
edition is the special
article by Anselmo Ferreira
Vasconcelos, entitled “155
years of Spiritism:
evolution and progress”,
in which he describes and
comments on important facts
related to the initiation of
Kardec in the field of
spiritist phenomenology and
the emergence of The Book of
Spirits, that happened 155
years ago.
On May 5th, the
II Mental Health Seminar
sponsored by the Association
of Medical-Spiritist of
Santos was held at the Saint
Cecilia University, as shown
in the report authored by
Giovana Campos, which is
also one of the highlights
of this edition.

This Sunday, starting at
9:00AM, another meeting of
the Inter-Regional North
will be held at Our Home
Spiritist Center in Londrina,,
with the presence of workers
and spiritist leaders from
the region, as well as the
board of the Spiritist
Federation of Paraná.
