The Spiritist therapy applicable to mental illness

This week’s editorial, “According to the spiritist doctrine, it is not enough to do no evil”, examines the question of responsibility of the human creature as to what he does or does not do in his passage through this planet.

Sandrelena Monteiro da Silva, from Juiz de Fora-MG, is our interview of the week. With extensive experience in leading spiritist youth groups, the colleague from Minas Gerais talks about the doubts and expectations of the youth of our time, as shown in the interview with our collaborator Guaraci de Lima Silveira, one of the highlights of this edition.

"Mental illness and the spiritist therapy" is the title of special article by our colleague Jorge Hessen, which states that dis-obsession meetings are an excellent proposal for the treatment of people with mental illnesses. The article is one of the highlights of this edition.

The Getúlio Vargas Foundation recently released a new map of religions in Brazil, based on the most recent home budget survey from the IBGE, in which one sees that the percentage of Catholics in our country has decreased. The report is one of the highlights of the week.

The study of the book Broken Chains by Manoel Philomena de Miranda, psychographed by Divaldo Franco, ends with this issue, and will be followed by the study of the work Plots of Destiny, by the same author and by the same medium.
