Education in the Golden Age

The golden age can be viewed with optimism and serenity,
and above all as a great educational opportunity

Considering the population inversion of the pyramid need arises. Under these conditions, we must think of education in the golden age, one that is capable of generating sensitivity reverence and tenderness. Given the new demand, educators will encounter those who are in that age group. At this stage of the crisis happens first retirement. There are previous crises such as teens, thirties and forties.

We are interested in examining the golden age and with it the history of people to think and reflect. In this phase consolidates the natural maturation bringing in its wake the detachment, which points toward new values and also the educational opportunity.

Consider the "retirement crisis." This crucial time effect related to the lifestyle presented by individuality.

We can find people obsessively committed to their jobs, with strong linkages, including day or time set aside to rest. We also observed that in addition to binding to work, this also allows access to other professionals to the satisfaction caused by interpersonal interaction, with dependence on the group members.

Retirement can have destructive effects of this lifestyle that you see at work the only source of satisfaction. If we consider that the work activity is not the only dimension of human life will be able to develop other types of projects and be easier to fight against the attachment to the job.

There are people able to develop social networks outside the workplace and do not seem to have difficulties, when they stop contributing to the gross domestic product.

Those who have more autonomy are often very creative and easy to show relationships, when they are needed, and also the ability to assume new roles.

Still others are able to establish a few connections in his life, to work with relative ease in favor of personal development activities and replace with new ones lost. They seem to protect well, to not express their dependencies. These can dream of retirement because they believe that this moment can become new growth opportunities, although they do love.

Education is a process and is possible to
find good results

Educators can help to realize that the golden age can be viewed with optimism and serenity and, above all, show the retirement as a great educational opportunity, without downtime.

The fact remains that the difficulty of dealing with power neurotic (1) and the insensitive and ignorant minds. However, we cannot forget that education is a process and that good results are possible to find. It will be hard work because this conditioning is done by the company, which considers the end of life, death, when the individual stops working. One commentator noted that unlike in England, which has two thousand, Brazil has twenty-five thousand positions of trust. They will not ever retire in five thousand municipalities friends. This warns us that we can remember that will not be interested in the topic we are discussing.

While we find different realities in the world, diverse, educational process that we can make observations that deserve to be considered, no matter what the target population.

First we formulate goals that may include the figure of the whole, the totality of human beings, with nature and composed of several fields that pass through the transverse, interacting with each other. We will have to meet the cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence, the psychomotor domain and also spirituality.

For certain individuals, seems to stop working to make life meaningless, so an education project for retirement will have to provide direction for this phase of life and encourage the adoption of a new lifestyle. We will have to meet the health, economy, family and interpersonal relations. This process will seek to open new horizons, offer alternatives, cultural activities aimed at specific age.

Not knowing what to do with the time, now totally free, can lead to dangerous idleness. Some fall into the hands of profiteers and are injured, although this is the lesser of evils. Some define old age as "that thing that only can be seen in the other." There is some truth when we find white-haired teens or camouflaged.

It is well to remember that only 5% are living
in homes for the aged

The lack of planned activity can be a destructive physical, mental and spiritual. Thus, it is necessary to develop a life plan that fits the real possibilities.

We can be optimistic and think of steps not too long, leading to life as if we were to die in the relatively near future. One day we hit. But we must consider what is proven fact that men have increased their average life. So we can reflect changes in the way of living, thinking and conduct in the face of aging that is universal, intrinsic (endogenous in origin) and progressive.

Let's also remember that only 5% are living in that corner of the elderly and the World Health Organization points to old age just after the seventy-five years and also that we can and must achieve spiritual plastic surgery, not to get like that witch of the fairy tale.

Most seniors do not show signs of decay of considerable physical and mental abilities, allowing them to social, economic and spiritual production. Titian painted at age 75 to 89, and Michelangelo worked on the Pietà. We should have a society to promote the psychological and spiritual security.

Let us now use the unpleasant feature of personal service and anticipate my apologies. Consider that experience cannot be transmitted; that there are no two identical trajectories and the absence of two equal pensions. On the other hand, consider that there are phases in life that can become widespread and that the examples are recent encouraging and accessible.

Let's bail out of a paper published in a crisis of another forty-some years after the crisis of retirement.

Becoming old is natural and irreversible process, which may be favorable or unfavorable. We understand the dissatisfaction to physical capacity diminishing, but the intellectual capacity may increase, as the experience of life.

We demonstrate this using two different times of the same existence. Certainly a product of intellectual effort could not be obtained by the young, despite having all the physical capacity, while an aged person could get the identical product. This reasoning leads us to experience life.

We must accept the criticism and the reality that
we didn't do almost anything

Experience is what today we can see that in the sixties there was a policy proposal in the world focused on the collective good and also explains the myopia of youth in individualistic society, 2011.

This is the lived experience in public health laboratories, which makes us appeal to prudence, to the diligence and expertise in Clinical Bacteriology, even though her physically apart.

In the 1980s we care to make a quick diagnosis of a disease that had a higher mortality rate in proportion to the delay of the result of its examination. We not thinking about the possibility of technical unable to realize that not only dealt with a test tube, but with lives. We were not aware that we had not been well educated, or in graduate school, in respect of court proceedings had not yet passed the banks of the law school.

The first concern was resolved in 1985, 16 years after graduation in biomedical sciences and in full crisis of forty. The second was published 14 years after the crisis of retirement.

This is the result of planning, not too ambitious, I talked about earlier. "We can be optimistic and think of steps not too long, noting that mankind has increased its average life, which is a proven fact."

The harshest critic could say that there was a beautiful goal and then I will remember the president who was using examples from the football and stop talking about the Master Dada: "There is no ugly goal. Ugly is not to score. "

Still, we can accept the criticism and the reality that we did not - or are - almost nothing. Only it cannot fail to resist the temptation to not start working on as well.

In the golden age of the various fruits harvested seeds sown and the reader should understand our joy when, after so many years, we find this quote in the literature. We are not deceived, for we know that an atom represents the grain of sand on this beach in the biomedical sciences(2). We hope that the contribution of 2010(3) is not forgotten in the future, although it has already borne fruit in this.

Mario Lago taught: "I made an agreement of peaceful coexistence with time"

Another and most important example of planning can be found in Brazilian society. The biography allows us to see how happy and productive can be the golden age. Mario Lago taught: "I made an agreement of peaceful coexistence with time. He did not persecute me or I run it. One day we'll meet. "

The French writer, living in Lyon, offers us precious example to think the golden age and the process of education, a public biography easy to examine the totality of his work intelligently. With perfect knowledge of Portuguese, and several times visiting Brazil, offers us a pearl. There is a "mere compilation, but a calm and dispassionate interpretation of facts." One of these facts was not of our knowledge and therefore chose to report those who have open minds.

Rolando Ramaccioti looking Abnelli Laertes. "Chico, there Uberaba, asked you to design a cover for his new book." Not knowing Chico and being an atheist, Laertes does not wish to help the disclosure does not share that belief and responds negatively. Chico writes him repeating the request. Then, passing by St. Paul, you are welcomed by appointment. He spoke of the artist's childhood, reference on advertising in Brazil. Narrated facts, which Laertes could not remember and her whole life. The artist gives his testimony stunned in a later book.

"I witnessed something (...) Perfume! A lot of scent: rose. Not only delicious aroma. Drizzling! Abundantly! So, intense that my hair was wet. And several days later, washed daily, smelled like roses. And I saved my suit in the closet, fragrant followed for months and months on end ..."

Seven years later, that Laertes has no news of Chico, is it another twist of fate. I would not dare to deprive the reader of the pleasure of checking in the book (reference), as transfers of faith in nihilism to the reality of the immortal soul.
