A moment with Chico Xavier 

The life and work of Francisco Candido Xavier will have, in this magazine, a weekly special space to dedicate to the late medium, examples of which should be in the minds of all of us who say spiritists.

Chico Xavier had shown us that it is possible to be a Christian these days, without clinging to neither the ownership nor the illusions that the corporeal existence presents us in every moment. And, beyond that, the tireless worker, the cordial friend, the benefactor of rich and poor, who charmed everyone with his humility.

Central character of the spirit movement in Brazil, the late medium of Pedro Leopoldo has been the subject of numerous materials in our magazine, such as the Special titled Chico Xavier, 100 years published in the April 4, 2010, which had offered the reader, on its final part, an almost complete picture with information relevant to his life, his thinking and his work. From the next issue - dated November 6 – the section A Moment with Chico Xavier will be part of our editions, and also mark the debut of our editorial team, a respected partner at our side whose presence honors us all.

We spoke the confrere José Antônio Vieira de Paula, one of the writers of the newspaper The Immortal, highly appreciated speaker and author of "A Moment with Chico Xavier", which first edition came out in 1997, after which a second edition was published by Didier Publishing , Votuporanga-SP. The section A Moment with Chico Xavier in our editions will replace the section Raul Teixeira responds, who has graced this magazine since issue No 5, when was his debut, until this edition, which is publishing his latest text.

He cannot, due to his numerous commitments to continue to participate in our weekly magazine, Raul Teixeira will return to speak to our readers in an exclusive interview that will give us every year, explaining, with usual clarity, the doubts that will be presented in opportune time, thus meeting their daily needs and interests of all who, like us, appreciate your consideration and further clarification on the different issues that have direct or indirect link with the teachings of spiritists.
