The collection of works by Chico Xavier available to everyone

This week’s editorial, We must be cautious when it comes to planetary transition, focuses and comments on what Allan Kardec wrote about this topic more than 145 years ago.

Author of the book Dangerous Minds - The Psychopath Next Door, Dr. Ana Beatriz Barbosa Silva talks about psychopathy and bullying in a special interview granted to our collaborator Guaraci de Lima Silveira, which is one of the features of this edition.

The author Ana Beatriz is a physician-psychiatrist and honorary professor from UniFMU (SP), and president of AEDDA - Association for the Study of Attention Deficit Disorder (SP) and director of the Behavioral Medicine Clinics in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Another feature of the week is the special article by Orson Peter Carrara about the 150 years of The Mediums' Book, which is considered the greatest treatise ever written on mediumship. In his article, the author reminds us that the existence of mediumship has a noble purpose and, therefore, it is incumbent upon us the duty to educate about it and direct it for the good.

The magazine "O Consolador" (The Comforter) offers its public a real treasure: the complete collection of works by Chico Xavier, continuing in its mission to help with the dissemination and study of the Spiritist Doctrine, as shown in a special article which is also one of the features of this edition.

On this day - August 28th - in 1881, exactly 130 years ago, the press in Brazil published the act by Brazilian police authorities prohibiting the activities of spiritist societies, thereby making official the persecution being waged against Spiritism.
