Letter to the reader Portuguese Spanish
Year 4 - N° 204 - April 10, 2011

O Consolador is celebrating
4 years of existence

“4 years of O Consolador”,
is the title of this week’s editorial, highlighting the penetration that this magazine has had in the world and reaffirms its intention to discuss the major issues of concern to the Spiritist movement and spiritists.

Among the highlights of this edition, we call the reader's attention to the interview Arnaldo Rocha, from Belo Horizonte-MG, gave to our collaborator Guaraci Lima Silveira.

In the interview, the well-known colleague, who was married to Meimei and a close friend of Chico Xavier, talks about their friendship with the late medium and reaffirms what I have said in several speeches about the identity of Chico, namely that Chico Xavier and the medium Miss Japhet are reincarnations of the same Spirit, therefore being preposterous the idea that in the 19th century he was the Codifier of the Spiritist doctrine.

Another highlight of this edition is the special article written by our colleague Luciano dos Anjos, from Rio de Janeiro-RJ, where the well-known colleague states, in a peremptory fashion, that Chico Xavier was really Ruth-Céline Japhet, one of the mediums who had a decisive participation in creating the “The Spirits’ Book”. The special article was divided into two parts and its conclusion will be published next week.

First published on April 18, 2007, this magazine completes, with this edition, four years of existence, during which time it has reached 105 countries in all continents of the globe, as shown in a special report in this issue, another highlight of the week.

*

On this date - April 10th - we celebrate another anniversary of the birth of Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, who was born in Meissen, Saxony, in the year 1755 and passed away in Paris on July 2nd, 1843. Hahnemann was the founder of homeopathy, and as Spirit, also participated in the codification work of Spiritism.
