A conversation about philosophy with Alan Krambeck

The level reached by the French spiritist movement
- this is the title of the editorial board of this Edition. It analyses the impact made by the article "The effects of eclecticism and heterodoxy in the French spiritist movement" written by Arthur Felipe A. Ferreira.

One of our highlights this week is the interview that fellow writer Alan Krambeck, from São José dos Campos-SP, granted to our contributor Orson Peter Carrara. Having Graduated in Engineering and Philosophy, Alan is an author of four books and in his interview he highlights the importance of the Spiritist Philosophy, especially in these difficult times, in which the spiritism movement in Brazil is going through.

Another highlight is the special authoring of Leonardo Machado talking about medicine of the soul, in which our colleague, from Recife-PE, presents a poignant example of what should be the ideal behaviour of a truly committed professional, that had  taken to heart the vows made to be a medical doctor.

The Spiritist Federation of Rio Grande do Sul is celebrating 90 years of existence with an event on the evening of 19th  February, as shown in the reportage of Paulo Salerno, and is another highlight of the week.

Ninety years ago - March the 6th 1921 - the Grêmio Spiritist Nazarene initiated activities of the Evangelization of Children. It was organized by Vianna Carvalho, Moreira Guimarães and Luiz de Oliveira and it was a pioneering initiative in the Brazilian spiritist movement. The Grêmio Spiritist Nazarene is located in the Engenho de Dentro, in the street called Gustavo Riedel, 63, in Rio de Janeiro-RJ.
