Book review: "The Physics of
the Soul"
This week’s editorial,
entitled The violence and its
antidote, speaks about
the violent attacks and
confrontations that have
blazed across the brazilian
city of Rio de Janeiro.
Among this edition’s
headlines, we highlight the
interview with fellow
colleague Maria Georgina
Anchieta Valente, who works
for the family affairs
department of the Spiritist
Federation of Rio Grande do
Sul. In the interview with our
collaborator Antonio Augusto
Nascimento, the fellow
colleague speaks about the
family and the actual
challenges faced by parents
and children.
Another highlight of this
edition is the Special written
by the professor Alexandre
Fontes da Fonseca, from Volta
Redonda (RJ). The article is
an analysis of the book “The
physics of the Soul”, by Amit
Goswami, which according to
Alexandre contains several
points that contradict the
Spiritist Doctrine.
The young deputy Heitor
Furtado has been murdered on
the 05th December 1982, during
the electoral campaign of that
year. Heitor has sent an
expressive message to his
parents through the medium
Chico Xavier. The full article
