11. Jesus says that by itself cannot do anything - Those who accused him of saying that God was his Father, making himself equal with God, Jesus replied that, indeed, the Son by himself cannot do anything. "Actually, in truth I tell you - Jesus says - he who hears My word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and not come into condemnation but has passed from death to life. Verily, verily I say that the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so hath he given the Son to have life in himself, and gave him the power to exercise his mind, because he is the Son of man. "Following the Master said: "Marvel not this: for the hour is coming when all who are in the graves shall hear his voice. And those who have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge: and my assessment is fair, because I seek not my will but the will of the Father who sent me. If I testify concerning myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me, and I know that the testimony he gives me is true." The Lord referred, then, John, who bore witness to the truth and was a burning and shining light. Jesus has, however, more than the testimony of John, for the works which the Father gave him to make these works testify of him. "Search the Scriptures - Jesus said - ye think ye have eternal life and they are they which testify of me: and ye will not come to me to have life. I do not receive the praise of men, but I know you, do not you have within you the love of God. I came on behalf of my Father, and ye receive me not: if another comes in his own name, you will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honor one another and seek not the honor that cometh from God only? "Completing the warning, the GM asserted:" Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: the one who accuses you Moses, in whom you trust. Because if you believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? "(John 5:24 to 5:47.)

Aware that they would get him to make him king, Jesus withdrew alone to the hill. In the afternoon, his disciples went down to the sea toward Capernaum. It was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them, when the sea was agitated and they could see the Master, who walked on the water toward their boat, and feared. Jesus said, "I am not afraid." They then received him into the boat, and he soon arrived at the land whither they went. (John 6:14 to 6:21.)

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him on the last day. It is written in the prophets, shall all be taught by God. Therefore, everyone who listened and learned from the Father comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except one that is from God, he has actually seen the Father, in truth I tell you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. " (John 6:41 to 6:47.)

1. What kind of healing occurred in Jerusalem called Bethesda in the tank?  

The tank, called in Hebrew Bethesda had five porches and therein lay a great multitude of sick, blind and lame, hoping the movement of water. It was believed that an angel went down at some point the pool and troubled the water: and the first one down there, after the movement of water, healed of whatever disease he had. (John 5:1 to 5:14.) 

2. Why, according to John, the Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill him?

The reason, according to John, is the fact of Jesus to heal on Saturday and, moreover, say that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. But Jesus told them that, indeed, the Son by himself can not do anything, which meant not equality but a subordinate status in his relationship to God our Father (John 5:14 to 5:23.) 

3. As John describes the first multiplication of loaves and fishes wrought by Jesus? 

According to John, Jesus had gone to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, which is to Tiberias, and large crowds followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on the sick. Jesus went up the mountain and there he sat with his disciples. The Passover Feast was near. Seeing the large crowd that came to him, he asked Philip, Whence shall we buy bread that these may eat? Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter said to him: Here's a guy who has five barley loaves and two fishes: but what are they among so many? Jesus said to them, Have the people sit down. And there was much grass in place. Sat down, because the men in number about five thousand. Jesus took the loaves and gave thanks, he distributed to the disciples and the disciples to those sitting down, and likewise of the fishes as much as they wanted. Then when all were filled, he said to his disciples: Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Gathered them together, therefore, and filled twelve baskets with the bread that was left. (John 6:1 to 6:13.)

These were the words spoken by Jesus: Indeed I say to seek me, not you saw the signs but because you ate the bread and you are satisfied. Do not work for food that perishes but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you this because the Father, God the sealed. (John 6:22 to 6:29.)
