How to deal with temptation

Read, in this edition, the editorial The temptations in a spiritist perspective and see how Spiritism treats this subject and what recipe we should employ in order to neutralize them.

Leila Rocha de Oliveira, who has established herself in the city of Holambra-SP two years ago, and leads the Seeds of Light Spiritist Centre, is this week’s interviewee. The fellow colleague is a spiritist since 1972 and talks in the interview about the spiritist activities that have taken place in her current place of residency, whose population presents a significant influence of immigrants originated from Italy and Holland. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition.

Another highlight of this edition is the conclusion of the Special entitled Is everything Obsession?, written by fellow colleague Victor Manoel Ventura Seco, from São Paulo-SP. The first part of the Special was published in last week’s edition.

Nuno Emanuel, from Lisbon, Portugal, tells us how was the apprenticeship course held on the 17th  of last month organised by the Lisbon Spiritist Union. The article is also one of our highlights.

On a day like this – on the 31st of October – the Fraternity Caravan began, a movement leaded by Leopoldo Machado who visited 11 States of the North and Northest part of Brazil.

The fact occurred in 1949, weeks after the signing of the Aural Pact, and its objective was to consolidate the unification ideals set out in the document referred to.
