The influence of Rede
Globo’s soap operas  

It is not possible to precisely measure if the spiritist soup operas, such as “Escrito nas Estrelas” (Written on the Stars), broadcasted by Rede Globo TV channel, influence people to seek for more information about the Spiritist Doctrine. However, this influence exists and it is the theme of this week’s editorial entitled “The spiritist soap operas and its influence”.

One of the highlights of this week is the interview conceded by the confrere Neusa Maria Lodi Ugattis, from Santa Rita do Passo Quatro (SP), to our colleague Wellington Balbo. During the interview Neusa speaks about the social work and dissemination of the spiritist doctrine conducted by the Spiritist Centre  Love and Charity, which carries off work promoting human development and doctrinaire dissemination in their town. 

Another highlight of this issue is the conclusion of the special from Paulo Neto about the spiritist phenomena. In this article, which the first part has been publishes last week,  the confrere reminds us that mediumship is not restricted to psychographics and that the Bible gives us evidence of the mediumnistic phenomena, if we study it  carefully.  

On September 12th, it was held in Amsterdam the 9th National Spiritist Meeting of the Netherlands, which had the participation of Carlos Campetti, as shown in the article written by Claudia Werdine,  which is also one of the highlights of this edition.
