Study shows that Carlos Chagas couldn’t have written the book Our Home

The approximation of Christmas exerts an enchanting magic over all homes, given it constitutes a rare moment of peace and an important stimulus so that the necessary change takes place, as expected by Jesus from the whole humankind, as shows this week’s editorial, entitled ”Christmas, a rare moment of peace in our world”.

One of the highlights in this edition is the interview conceded, twenty years ago, by Jerônimo Mendonça, the Lying Giant, to the confrere Waldenir Aparecido Cuin. In the interview, which the only one conceded by the homesick confrere, Jerônimo talks about various subjects that are still up-to-date despite the years that have passed since then. An important detail regarding the interview is that, two months later, in November 1989, Jerônimo returned to the spiritual nation.

Another highlight is the special report about André Luiz’s identity by Pedro Bezerra Neto, in which the author proofs that Carlos Chagas (spirit) couldn’t have been the author of the books Nosso Lar (Our Home) and Os Mensageiros (The Messengers), based on information from the book Na Próxima Dimensão (In The Next Dimension), by Inácio Ferreira, psychography of Carlos A. Baccelli.

The XVII National Spiritist Congress of Spain happened in early December, promoted by the Spanish Spiritist Federation at the Diamante Beach Hotel, in Calpe, Alicante, as shows the special report by Claudia Werdine, which is also a highlight in this issue.

On the day before yesterday, 18th, one more anniversary of decease has been celebrated for Augusto Elias da Silva, founder of the magazine Reformador (Reformer), published by the Brazilian Spiritist Federation. Augusto Elias disincarnated on December 18th 1903, twenty years after releasing the renowned publication with his own income.

The present edition is the last one of this year. Our magazine will return with a new edition on the first Sunday of January 2010. Thus, we would like to take the chance to thank you for your attention to this periodical, at the same time we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, may it bring peace, health and happiness to you and your family.
