Jesus and the episode of the storm calmed down

When talking about death, there are people who doubt the continuation of life and, on the other hand, those ones who believe it and imagine that the deads are resting, without responsibilities or duties to perform, subject that constitutes this week’s editorial theme, entitled “The repose of those who departed to afterlife”.

One of the highlights in this edition is the interview conceded to our collaborator and editor Orson Peter Carrara by the confrere Agnaldo de Paula Vasconcelos, founder of the Spiritist Center St. Francis of Assis, from Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Sao Paulo, who tells how the Institution was created and its work in Sao Paulo state.

Spiritist since the age of four, Agnaldo, who is a doctor, has a broad view about the divulgation area of the Spiritist Movement and this has been demonstrated in his work, leading the Association of Divulgation of the Spiritist Doctrine, which broadcasts Spiritist speeches on the Internet, subject also covered in the interview.

Another highlight this week is the special report “The storm calmed down”, in which the confrere José Carlos Monteiro de Moura, from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, analyzes the extraordinary fact narrated by Evangelist Mark and that shows us that Jesus, the Spiritual Governor of our planet, has never abandoned us.

The 4th Portuguese Journey of Medicine and Spiritituality will take place in Lisbon, Portugal,  next weekend, having as central theme “Spirituality in Action: New Paths to Health”, as shows the report that integrates the current edition.

Various messages have been circulating on the Internet informing about a blog that promotes an interesting survey to find out who are the most popular personalities on the planet, divided into 12 categories: leaders and politicians, journalists, soccer players, athletes, basketball players, musicians, writers and authors, scientists and professors, movie directors, actors, actresses and CEOs.

While we were writing this Letter, Chico Xavier and Divaldo Franco were leading the “leaders and politicians” world rank. The website can be visited on www.whopopular.com.
