In one year O Consolador
has tripled its number
of readers

One of the highlights of this issue is the interview that the Professor and writer Jerri Roberto Santos de Almeida delivered to our collaborator and editor Antonio Augusto Nascimento, in which he reports his experience as a teacher, lecturer and collaborator at the Spiritist Federation of Rio Grande do Sul (FERGS).

Graduated in History and post-graduated in Dialogs between History and Literature, the confrere goes about saying that violence is a thermometer which signals the necessity of an urgent review on values. “Bring Jesus to our daily reflections and everyday living– he says – is our duty.”

Another highlight of this issue is the Special “Homo hominis lupus (The man is man’s wolf)”, in which Américo Domingos Nunes Filho examines the mistake that is abortion. The confrere, who is a doctor in Rio de Janeiro, says that the person-to-be at eleven weeks old, inside his mother, can already start his first movements and reflexes, which shows that such practice is a murder, a human carnage, supported by the ignorance of the authentic spiritual knowledge.

In a special story, in which he presents two synopses of top Spiritist plays – Lover Never Forgets and Allan Kardec, the Scientist of Invisible – Orson Peter Carrara shows how art has been used effectively to spread Spiritism. The story is another highlight of this issue.

As it has been previously shown, the numbers registered on the site “O Consolador” points for the continuous growth of number of people that use our magazine to study and spread the Doctrine. In the chart below we have the numbers for November 2007 and, beside, to be compared, November 2008:
