Cairbar Schutel was born 140 years ago, the Scout
of Spiritism

In an interview delivered to our collaborator and editor Orson Peter Carrara, the confrere Abel Sidney, author of Lessons of a Suicide, reports his experiences in Rondônia, where he lives, talks about his books and projects and emphasizes the importance of studying the Spiritist Doctrine. Spiritist since 1981, he is a lecturer and helps in evangelization, working at Spiritist Center Brother Jacob, in Porto Velho. It is one of the highlights of this issue.

This week the Brazilian Spiritist are celebrating the 140th anniversary of Cairbar Schutel, the kind man, friend of the poor and sick, object of a special story this issue, which talks about the founder of O Clarim and the International Magazine of Spiritism, renowned publications worldwide. As it is known, Cairbar was born in Rio de Janeiro, but in São Paulo, more precisely in Matão, he stood out in his professional and personal life.

Claudia Rojas, correspondent of this magazine in Curitiba, shows us in a special story how the Fraternal Meeting with Divaldo Franco was like, which took place earlier this month in Guarajuba (BA), where the esteemed friend lectured a seminar.
