Letter to the reader

Year 17 - 828 - June 18, 2023

Impenetrable in the folds of time, nothing escapes Divine Justice

The evolution of religions throughout history and their understanding of the scope and functioning of Divine Justice is the subject of the article “Divine Justice and religions”, authored by the medium, writer and spiritist scholar Eurípedes Kühl. As the columnist recalls in the article, which is one of the highlights of this issue, Divine Justice automatically registers the merit or demerit of each Spirit, and not only their acts, but also their thoughts, whether good or bad.

Another highlight of this edition is the interview that fellow member Paulo Eduardo Cherino Malerbi, from São Paulo (SP), gave to our collaborator Orson Peter Carrara. An engineer by profession, our interviewee participates in the activities of the Spiritist Federation of the State of São Paulo and Seara Bendita, located in the city of São Paulo, institutions in which he has worked for over 30 years, in the areas of teaching and spiritual assistance.

Our writing colleague Thiago Bernardes presents us, in a special article, the case of the English philosopher and theologian John Wycliffe, who is credited with the first translation of the Bible from Latin into the English language, a fact that was expressly prohibited by the Church, which so he was condemned to death. As he had already died, his body was removed from the tomb and his remains were burned by order of the clergy.
