What do you mean by spiritual colonies being circumscribed places? -  Final

In our research, published in the book Spiritual Colonies and Codification (Colônias Espirituais e a Codificação), we found more works that bring information about constructions in the spiritual plane, well before Andre Luiz literature:

Constructions in the Spiritual World
(Sources prior to Andre Luiz)
In 1935, Cartas de Uma Morta (Letter from a dead woman) appears, dictated by Maria Joao de Deus, which is the first work by Chico Xavier in which constructions in the spiritual world are mentioned (psychographed until the end of 1934), but before that these works already talked about it ( # possible date):

The works on this list are part of the 39 sources in which there are references to constructions on the spiritual plane. This is a significant number, considering that in relation to the elaboration of the content of the first edition of The Book of Spirits, the Encoder literally said:      “[…] This is how more than ten mediums applied for this work” (1).

In the Codification works

Initially, it is important to mention two points on which the horizon of understanding will unfold, as it will make the issue clearer:

1st) Temporary worlds.

The existence of these worlds goes unnoticed to many people. According to questions 234 to 236 of The Book of Spirits, their surface is sterile and they serve as housing for disembodied Spirits, as stated, they are "places where they can rest from a too long erraticism" (1). This condition is temporary, as they are not perpetually destined for wandering Spirits. So, do we have “circumscribed places” here, or are we going too far?

2nd) The visible world that is invisible to us

In the Spiritist Magazine 1858, month of March, we have the article “Jupiter and some other worlds”, from which we will copy these three paragraphs:

Of all the planets, the most advanced in all respects is Jupiter. There, is the exclusive realm of good and justice, because there are only good Spirits. One can get an idea of the happy state of its inhabitants from the picture we have given of the inhabited world without the participation of Spirits of the second order.

Jupiter's superiority is not only in the moral state of its inhabitants; it is also in their physical constitution. Here is the description given to us of that privileged world, where we find most of the good men who honored our Earth for their virtues and their talents.

The conformation of bodies is almost the same as in this world, but it is less material, less dense and of a greater specific lightness. While we crawl painfully on Earth, the inhabitant of Jupiter transports himself from place to place, skimming the surface of the ground, almost without fatigue, like a bird in the air or a fish in the water. Since the matter from which the body is formed is more purified, it dissipates after death without being subjected to putrid decomposition. Most of the illnesses that afflict us do not exist there, especially those that have their source in excesses of all kinds and in the disorder caused by passions. Food is in relation to this ethereal organization; it would not be substantial enough for our coarse stomachs, and ours would be too heavy for them; it is composed of fruits and plants, and, moreover, they draw, in some way, the greater part of the environment from which the nutritive emanations draw. The duration of life is proportionately much longer than on Earth; the average is equivalent to five of our centuries. Development is also much faster, and childhood lasts only a few of our months.

Under this light envelope, the Spirits are easily disconnected and enter into reciprocal communication solely through thought, without excluding, however, articulated language; […].

Animals are not excluded from this progressive state. However, they do not approach man, even regarding their physical aspect; their bodies are more materially bind to the ground, in the same way as we are to Earth. Their intelligence is more developed than ours is; the structure of its members bends to all the demands of the work; they are in charge of the execution of manual works; they are servants and workers: the occupations of men are purely intellectual. Man is, for them, a deity, but a tutelary deity who never abuses his power to oppress them. (1) (italics in original, our bold)

For the human science, the planet Jupiter is not inhabited. Would the Spirits be wrong when they considered it like that? Did Allan Kardec, in turn, let himself be deceived?

Curious is the fact that those who deny the existence of spiritual colonies also do not question the habitability of Jupiter, especially since it is a gaseous planet.

Let us now look at these three more objective reports on the subject:

1st) Spiritist Magazine 1859, month of September.

From the article “Confession of Voltaire”, the French Enlightenment nobleman, in the disembodied condition, among other things, said:

It was, I say, mocking and suspicious that I approached the spiritual world. First, I was led away from the dwellings of the Spirits, and I traveled through the immense space. Then, I was allowed to cast my eyes on the wonderful constructions of the Spiritist abodes and, in fact, they seemed surprising to me; I was impelled here and there by an irresistible force; I had to see, and see, until my soul overflowed with splendors, and defeated before the power that controlled such wonders. Anyway, I wanted to hide and crouch in the hollow of the rocks, but I could not. (1) (Emphasis added)

A note follows, in a note, some comments by Allan Kardec, of which we highlight the following excerpt: “[…] Never perhaps a grander and more impressive picture has been given of the spirit world, and of the influence of terrestrial ideas on ideas from beyond. -tomb. […].” ( )

2nd) Spiritist Magazine 1865, month of May.

Message “About fluidic creations” signed by Mesmer:

The world of the invisible is like yours; instead of being material and gross, it is fluid, ethereal, […].

The spiritual world is not a reflection of yours; it is yours, which is a gross and an imperfect image of the realm beyond the grave(1) (Italics in original, our bold)

More clear that this is impossible. So why the resistance?

3rd) Heaven and Hell, Second part, cap. II – Happy Spirits, Countess Paula.

Allan Kardec, after highlighting the moral qualities, informing that the Countess had died at the age of 36, in 1851, reports that “one of her relatives, evoked her twelve years after her death, and obtained, in response to several questions, the following communication”:

[…] What, however, is this happiness compared to what I enjoy here? Splendid earthly festivities in which the richest vestments are displayed, what are they compared to these assemblies of spirits resplendent with brilliance that your eyes could not bear, brilliance that is the hallmark of their purity? Your palaces of golden halls, what are they compared to these aerial abodes, vast regions of Space tinged with colors that would obscure the rainbow. Are your walks, systematically in the parks, what are they reduced to, compared to the paths of immensity, faster than lightning? In addition, what about these cloudy and limited horizons, which are compared to the spectacle of worlds moving in the infinite Universe at the influx of the Most High? And how monotonous are your most harmonious concerts in relation to the gentle melody that makes the ether fluids and all the fibers of the soul vibrate! And how sad and insipid are your greatest joys compared to the ineffable sensation of happiness that saturates our whole being like a beneficial effluvium, without a mixture of restlessness, apprehension, suffering?! Here, everything sums up love, trust, and sincerity: loving hearts everywhere, friends everywhere! […]. (1) (emphasis added)

Here is the clear and objective statement of the existence of “air addresses”.

Conclusion

Sincerely we are surprised by the Spiritists who deny the existence of colonies, understood as constructions in the spiritual world. As Herculano Pires well said, the detailing offered by Andre Luiz is his way of seeing them. However, it makes no sense to deny them in the face of everything that we can find about them today.

We are very concerned about the exhibitor friends who come to the public to say the opposite. They are exposing themselves as surface researchers demonstrating that they did not study this matter deeply. When they do, its existence is undeniable.
